Best feeling driver

I currently play a Cobra F9, and it's the only club in my bag where I don't love the feel on center strikes. 

 

I know this is completely qualitative and subjective, but what are some of the best feeling drivers in your opinion?

 

Don't be lame and tell me to try a different ball. Just tell me what drivers are known to feel awesome.

There are a lot of good choices these days, TSR3, Paradym 3D, come to mind.  As a new G430 LST owner, this thing sounds mint to me. I wouldnt say better than the others I've listed, but it sounds very good.

Paradym TD and tsr3 are my picks. Both are great 

paradym has a softer feel and more muted sound 

 

tsr feels like the ball really compresses off the face and springs off

Have been gaming the Mavrik for a while now. When you hit it square on, there is very little that feels better. The icing on the cake is the sound. I've been thinking about switching to a Paradym TD after hitting in a sim. The sound is great and the ball feels like it's shooting off, especially vs the Stealth 2+ that I was also considering.

Callaway Rogue ST Max LS is fantastic. Love the sound when its hit right in the center. The sounds doesn't seem much different on off center hits. I've also been playing around with the Taylormade Stealth 2 Plus. It is a very forgiving driver but my miss is low heel strikes and I really dislike the sound it makes when hit there

Interesting. The F9 is considered a very good sounding, feeling driver in most circles. 
 

the TSR3, Callaway Mavrik are probably my 2 favs for feel.

Sim2, STZ220, LTD x LS and TSR3 are my experiences and I liked the Cobra and TSR. The TSR feels soft off the face which I like.

Some great drivers out there at the moment, I have enjoyed hitting the following drivers this year, TSR3, Paradym X3 diamond and G430 LST

All are different and feel great in their own individual way

For me, the Epic Speed feels and sounds great- doesn’t hurt that ball tends to go where I need it to most of the time also 👍🏻

I’m partial to that slightly muted carbon-y “crack” from carbon TM heads when hot melted just right. 5-7g of hot melt seems to be the sweet spot for me.

Callaway Mavrik is the best feeling and sounding driver I've ever hit.  Have one laying around, I should bag that thing for a round again.

I play a Rogue ST Triple Diamond. It sounds like a muted .22 when you hit it out of the center of the face with high ball speed. It is a really awesome crack sound. As good as the center strikes feel, the off-center stuff can leave your hands vibrating. I like it a lot as far as “feels” go, but it straight up performs better than anything else and that’s why I’ve stuck with it. 
 

However, my brother has a Stealth 2+ and that head feels INCREDIBLY good when you get it out of the center. The carbon-face feels really unique. I like it a lot - I know some people hate it. That would probably get my vote for “best feeling” - I just don’t play it as well as my Rogue ST.

Standard Aerojet head.  The LS feels like a wood block compared to it.  Radspeed XB feels great as well to me 

 

Best feeling head ever to me was the 440 M3 with some melt

Best ones: TM R510 TP, Cobra Biocell +,Mizuno ST-Z 220, TSi3, TM 2016 M2  in that order 

Worst ones: Ping G410, G425, Recent Cobra's (face feels too hard)

Tsr3 is awfully good.  So subjective though.  For instance the ping g430 lst is getting a lot of love. It feels better than other pings but to me, it is still not great feeling.  Just shows how personal this is.  I also like the way the f9 feels so that’s another example of how different people like different things.

Haven't pulled the trigger on playing something else for this exact reason. Nothing quite compares,

Indeed. Mavrik is an all-time great. Addictive.

 

Of the new ones the Paradym Triple Diamond is very nice. Titleist TSR2 is another winner IMO.

Lots of comments about great sounds so this may be an unpopular opinion as they sound way too loud for most, but I love the G425 Max. That head feels solid almost everywhere and super forgiving on mis hits, seems to let you get away with alot. But ultimately I think my driver feel comes more from shaft than head. Def a partnership but I love the GD- AD TP6. Second favorite shaft was the Ventus Red 6X but it felt looser, so didn't feel as tight, and my dispersion wasn't either.

I just switched my Mavrik for a regular Paradym, and I’m missing that Mavrik feel. The Paradym feels so hollow and muted. Do you know how the TD feels compared to the regular Paradym?

Can't believe people aren't questioning the fact he DOES NOT like the F9 sound/feel more than they are.  It was pretty universally loved.  In saying that, I did not like it either and sold it quickly.

 

My current 2 favorites are the TSR3 and Stealth2 Plus.  Followed closely by my tour issued Epic Speed Triple Diamond.  Full disclosure-- I own a hotmelt gun and use it.  These all needed it, but not for sound.  The Epic is pretty quiet, but the other 2 did not change much.  Not my fave, but my G425LST with 6 grams sounds feels so much better.  Not totally muted, but massively improved.  I also have a Mavrik SZ that is the worst sounding driver of all time for me, but with hotmelt it's amazing.  My brother uses it and thinks it's the best sounding/feeling of all time.  

 

Last, but not least-- PXG Gen5 and 6.  Sound/feel powerful.  Really nice.  I didn't want to hotmelt the Gen5, but it needed some weight front and center.

The TSR4 and Mizuno STZ-230 both sound good to me, everything else is too light and/or needs hotmelt.  Keen to see if the new ST-G 440 has that special  feel or if it's like the "broken and something's loose" ST-Z and Callaways.  TM was good up to the OG SIM.  Adams 9015d was my unicorn.

OG Stealth Plus is so good, it's gotta be my #1.  M5 was pretty good too but I think the Stealth+ edges it.  Muted carbony thwack is my preferred sound/feel.
