Modus105 vs DG120?

Hello. 
 

Comtemplating using another shaft. Love the feel of tour105 S, but I feel like Im losing some precision. 
 

Going of weights the DG120 weight 112g vs tour105s 106g and today I use 6g on the clubhead to bring up swing weight so weight should be similiar?

 

Maybe the lower trajectory of dg120 will benefit when Im increasing my swing speed or is it just a case of adding shaft lean to lower launch?

 

Is there another fairly common shaft in 105-115 range that is smooth and launch mid?

Modus 115 is directly comparable to DG 120
Modus 105 is a similar profile but MUCH lighter & would be compared to DG 105

If you go to a heavier shaft the swingweight should go up by a small amount, may need to remove some weight from the heads but not much, maybe more noticeable with the longer clubs.

Swingweight (more) means more weight towards the head right? Actually something I would like. 
 

Ive been battleing some feel during this years where I added 6-8g to the head to feel them in the swing, an increase would be welcome. Would

also help me to load the clubhead if I feel it more, nice.

Yeah the 115 would probably be the best contender but I expected DG120 S300 to weight 120g but they are only 112g so 6g heavier then modus105 (S).

 

Reading they are feeling much lighter has me thinking it can be something good. 
 

I want to be in that 110-115 range, helps retain some speed while adding some stability.

I wouldn’t describe the DG 120 as smooth, it has that DG feel and some say it’s even a little bit harsher than the OG version. Not my opinion though.
I found the DG 120 in X100 very solid and consistent and loved the feel. Launch is not too low but piercing. Less ballooning shots than I had with the regular S300, and very little front to back dispersion. One of the reasons the DG profile is such an evergreen. 

I went to Steelfiber i95 S for a little more launch and way less joint pain.

Gig difference between these the 105 Vs 120 modus. Felt the 105 is very stiff and light and the modus 120 tends to spin into the wind. Would be interested to know which shafts you have had success with or keep coming back to? This tends to be a good indicator, real world results win over numbers

Ps club head loft determines launch, the shaft affect is very little if any
