Longest Golf Ball

Hi All,

Is there a consensus on the longest golf ball? I know the Top Flite Bomb had some good reviews, but I can’t find anyone really doing testing to which ball is truly the longest (not worried about any playing characteristics).

Any vendor that sells titleist balls should be able to order them on request. Unless titleist themselves have run out

Don't believe there is but depends on who you listen to.  Numerous websites say DASH -ProV1x

I tested the new Chrome Tour.  Very low spin, firm and LONG.  I tested against a bunch of other balls, including -Dash and it was consistently the longest of the bunch.  Worth a shot for whatever its worth

And apparently the Chrome Tour is the replacement for the Chrome Soft X LS, which was a long ball right up there with the left dash.  No more CSXLS in the new lineup, so I’ll be all over the CT.

in my testing the Chrome Tour was just average.   Left dash and regular prov1 longer for me....thank god i only bought a sleeve of 3 for the chrome tour

Thats cool and good to hear.

 

But, for me I hit upwards of 100 drives on course and with a LM and constantly saw CT and TP5X out in front of -Dash.  Those were the top three.  ProV was middle of the pack.   Just goes to show you, swing dynamics and maybe even comfort/confidence are factors.

Definitely.  I have not hit the new TP5x.....the last model was not good but the 2019 TP5 is still one of the best balls ive ever played......still waiting for TM to bring that one back.....

The last one no good for me either.  Felt horrible.   I hope you get to try the new one.  Very good all arounder

The Pro V1x is Titleist's highest-spinning golf ball.

After mentioning the -ProV1X earlier, I cracked one in a scramble tourney yesterday, never seen cracks in the Bridgestones.

I've had the new Chrome Tour (87+/- compression) in play for a few months now, and I like it, but don't believe it was intended to replace CS XLS (100+/- compression).  It feels really nice at impact, similar to ProV1 (90+/- compression), very different from my normal (102+/- compression) DASH -ProV1x ball, which is hard.  CT works well off Driver and my irons, and spins around the greens, but DASH is slightly longer with my irons and nutted, DASH was 10-12yds longer for me than CT this past weekend.
