Adam Scott New Miura Irons....Again

Adam Scott is back on the PGA Tour this week in Bermuda and has another new set of Miura irons in the bag.  These look to be a modified version of the KM700s he's been playing recently.

He should have just stuck with whatever Titleist 681.AS heads they made for him (assuming there were no more 680s sitting around).  Probably would have lasted however long he's going to play on tour.

 

On the woods/fairways, I've wondered whether he actually likes the non-Titleist stuff he's played more (but had to play Titleist in the past)? 

 

Or, he's just too stubborn to still play the clubs of a company that said "we don't need you (at least at your price)?"  For the irons, I don't see much of a reason to change, given the strong preferences he has.  Well, I guess if Miura will build a set for you then go ahead...

 

I'm an AS fan but this looks kind of silly.

Those are one of the best looking irons I've seen.  Impressive, but also seem to be more forgiving than his older Titliest 680 (?) irons.

Maybe that's why he moved on from the AS-1s?  He's no longer one of the World's Best Ball Strikers.  He knows it, Miura-san knows it, and he knows Miura San knows it.  I think he even had some Titleist CBs in the bag for a round or two (before missing the FedEx Cup Playoffs).
