Diplomat was great, Lioness is fantastic, quite enjoyed first 2 episodes of Landman. Billy Bob is just a joy to watch.

 

I know TS gets a bad rap for delaying and starting new stuff, but dude can write, watch pretty much anything of his. He had 4 shows on a Sunday recently, Lioness, Yellowstone, finale of Tulsa King and premiere of Landman, not sure how he does it.

Day of the Jackal is looking pretty good. Think it's going next in the rotation. 

 

Currently watching Cross on Prime. Half way through and they've done a good job of balancing Alex being the smartest guy in the room with the toll some of the background events took on him. Two of the villains are selling some of the best functional psychopathy you'll ever see--with the irony of both of them operating and thriving in and around D.C. not lost on the audience I'm sure. 

 

Lioness is looking pretty good and I like that the trailer is minimal. Might slot it in after Jackal.

Sheridan is consistently good. Amazing considering how prolific he is. Did you catch his cameos in S2 of Lioness? Landman is next on the list after Jackal

It's a wild time. Top shelf actors all over TV and top shelf directors/writers helming for many of them. Used to be a death sentence for film pros to do anything more than a cameo as themselves not to terribly long ago.

I have to be honest: I think the Sopranos is probably the most overrated show of all time. 

I'm not saying it isn't a good show. I'm saying I don't think it deserves to be at the top of the "all time greatest shows" list. 

 

The characters are so underdeveloped. All of the second-tier characters are cartoonish IMO. Little Steven's portrayal is so completely overdone. Every time he opens his mouth something stupid falls out. 

 

I realize I'm in the minority here. I watched it once through and that is plenty for me.

I’ve been watching a ton of Korean shows on Netflix lately. Got the bug thanks to parasite and squid game. Recently started this show called the Trunk on Netflix. It’s got the guy from train to busan in it

I'm a sucker for the Korean "period dramas" on Netflix.  I was sick in bed for a couple days earlier this week and watched almost 2 full 16-episode series.  LOL.

Mostly, it's the "historical" ones - Captivating the King, Rookie Historian, Under the Queen's Umbrella, etc.  I've watched the fantasy/horror ones, too - Alchemy of Souls and Kingdom.  I haven't watched a lot of the ones set in current day, but I do like Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
