Can a Ping iron be bent from orange dot to blue or green dot?

Hello - found a used set of Ping i210 irons in orange dot (2 flat) and if I buy them would like to get it to my normal fitted lie of 1-2* upright. So a blue or Green dot.

Any idea if Ping will bend them 3-4* for me?

Thanks in advance. I did a google search and search on here and nothing came up.

I'm surprised that you couldn't find any info. I've seen this topic come up dozens of times here on this forum.

To answer, you will have to call Ping to be sure, but 3 degrees is no problem. I'm not positive about 4 though.

In the past I had a set of i210s bent from green to red. I think that's 3* difference.

So, they should be able to bend to blue dot for sure.

Just bent a set i230 irons from black to white (3 degrees) yesterday on my home bending machine and it was no problem. Many years ago I picked up a set of used S57 irons, took them to the Ping facility in Phoenix to get them bent 4 degrees more upright, they made me sign a waiver saying they wouldn't be responsible for any broken heads but they were able to bend them with no problem.

I've had i210's bent 3 degrees, but they did not want to do 4.

Yes, typically the Ping I-series will be able to be bent 4*, but it's always hit-or-miss going that far. You may have the whole set bend easily but one iron may break after 2 degrees. I have no problem bending G-series irons 3-4* all the time, and the I-series usually move a little easier. Best idea is send them back to Ping and then they will update the color dot and serial number.

I know this is an old post… but what about orange to green for the forged Blueprint S’s? So 4°?
