What should I work on this winter (video included)

Man I've been drilling this feel in the living room for a week. Hit two buckets of balls and played with it and have seen significant ballstriking improvements with footspray. It may just be the honeymoon faze but I am staying with this drill for a long while.

Working away with some video.  I like this move through the ball and the feeling I need to create to arrive there is pretty wild.  Some roll through impact and I expect due to the clubface being open a bit late.  I'll keep grinding on the feel that keeps the shaft from getting too steep before I worry about much else. (Side note, I don't like how youtube posts videos as shorts...is there a way to have them uploaded as normal videos so you have access to the quality and playback speed adjustments?)

I spent a lot of time over the past couple years fixing a horrid roll inside on the back swing. Sometimes in over correction, I pick the club up too much outside but things are getting better. I feel like i should tidy up my lower body action. I don't like the locked out trail knee. Any drills i should think about or anything else I should think about?

Two things....imo

 

Avoid the regrip takeaway...My coach, Martin Chuck, encourages folks to keep the club 1 mm off the ground so the weight of the club is in your hands and less likely to regrip the club into a takeaway. 

 

Second, watch that left foot. That heel resettles backwards, closer to your midline. This was my problem, too. You swing it better than me, but that's a swing killer according to Coach Chuck. Place a ball against the inside of your left heel at address and see if you can avoid rolling it toward your right foot. 

 

Final thing...you are clearly a lower hadicapper, so hit a lot of mid-range and short wedge shots. Don't neglect your walk in routine. Again, more stuff from Martin.

You have an interesting habit. You take your right thumb off the grip, then right before you take it back, your right arm straightens when you grip it and gets right shoulder forward. I think that gets the clubhead moving a bit too outside in the takeaway.

Yes, I'm working on it. I tried to treat these swings like I was on the course and tried not to have swing thoughts. I need to clean up the takeaway.

It was nice to see the whole ball flight today and the weather tomorrow is allowing for a very rare early March game.
