Torrey Pines South course

I do believe that the course is 7800 yards but the first two rounds will be played with lift clean, and place and several tees moved up.

 

Wednesday thru Saturday event.

Let's hope the trend of good storyline winners continues and 2024 is the year the blue bloods die, like a busted march madness bracket. 

 

I am picking Torrey Pines native Michael Kim to win who has revitalized his career of late and showing good form this season.

 

JT withdrew because he wrapped up the Aon next 5? I don't know if that's mathematically accurate but a 99 pct probability of likely happening.

Course is water logged, long, long and the rough is at high tide.

I have $20 on Morikawa. He looks good at -3 after 6 with 2 lipped outs. It will be a good year for him and he should win a few tournaments.

Seems mad to me to change the entire tradition of a sport to fit in another sport but I guess NFL is like religion to America these days.

Of the 100 highest viewed events in the US last year, the NFL made up 97 of them. The only outliers were the Oscars, the State of the Union, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (which nobody actually watches, but everybody has playing in the background before Thanksgiving FB starts). 

 

Honestly, I'm surprised the PGAT doesn't do this for the entire Jan thru Super Bowl slate.

The games last weekend had approx 50 million viewers each, nothing can touch the NFL in the US.

option D low scores on the north due to lack of wind. non low scores on the south due to added length.

North Course is 500 yrds shorter than south so the longer conditions arent making it as hard as the south which probably feels 8000 yrds long right now.

If any non already sig event qualifier finishes both 1 and 2, say Lowry + Ryo, no ties - and also Yu gets minimal points - which looks likely, JT would be OUT of the sig events since Bez and Murray are already of him in the Aon next 5 and those 3 would be clear of him.  🤔

Not really. JT would still get in due to his top 30 OWGR ranking. He's currently 23rd.
