Paradym X driver - anyone else have dents from crown overhang?

I got a Paradym X driver over the holiday time and finally took it to the range.  Maybe 70-80 strikes.  I look at the top where the face meets the crown lip, and it's all dented up.  Yeah, I teed it up high for first time and of course I'm no scratch golfer by any means, but never had this on any of my prior drivers.  My Rogue ST Max D that I gamed all last year plus range time probably had 1500-2000 strikes, looks new and doesn't have a single mark like this.

 

These aren't my typical sky-marks.  It almost seems as if the face is not made forward enough.  That crown lip should not have overhang, right?  I can feel it with my finger...it isn't flush with the face.  Plus, the ferrule slid a little already.  Bought it brand new from Callaway site (not CPO) and all my clubs have been kept indoors at room temperature always.  Worth reaching out to them for possible exchange?  Thanks.

Exchange it, worst they could do is say no; and they wouldn't say no with those QC issues.

Thanks.  I called a while ago and the rep said typically that's not covered.  But gave me his email and I sent the pics.  Hoping to hear good news.  I've never seen a driver that intentionally had the crown hang a hair over the face.  Can't be by intended design.

It's just paint, not the crown really.

 

They should replace just due to the loose ferrule.

Its actually deformed plastic, not just paint chipped off.  Kinda rolled over after those impacts. 

In the section closer to the hosel (somehow I didn't have any hosel-rocket marks!) I can feel that overhang with my thumb nail as it extends all the way around that bend.

Good news...Callaway is sending me a replacement.  However, they say they don't stock the Paradym X anymore (though I do see it on their website) so they are going to send me a Paradym Ai Smoke Max D which is the comparable 2024 version.  Hopefully it's better (as it should be)!
