AI Smoke TD MAX is tour only at this point.  I've already asked the head pro who I'm cool with if I can borrow his to test at the range to hit a few balls sometime this week.  He's fine with it.  I've done it before.  Now I gotta convince him to order me one since he's a Callaway staffer, lol.  I've already asked all my connections and Will Peoples and none of them can get their hands on one at this point.  FYI, I make enough but it's unavailable to us hackers at this point as you can see unless you got connections with Cally's tour van or tour staff.

Just got the AI smoke max built and tested out a little bit yesterday and definitely is as promising as i was hoping. Initially the best out of anything I’ve tested so far such as the darkspeed x, qi 10 standard and ping 10k.  
 

The ping was in the lead vs the others and would have gone with it if the callaway didn’t work out but ai smoke max is just as forgiving and launches a couple degrees higher but with flatter trajectory and less spin. Plus it feels and sounds much better. Than the ping and qi10, comparable with the cobra which feels great.
 

FWIW I have the AI smoke max 9* with strong green dot adapter playing at 7* with 10g(+8g) weight up front, standard 14g rear. Head weight is 200.5g excluding adapter. 45” and D5 with my favorite shaft of the last 10 years I picked up. Diamana DF 70tx.

Have you looked into Darkspeed LS putting the heavier weight in the back?

Cobra Darkspeed LS 9* with heavy weight forward in fade spot.

I find it extremely forgiving, not just for an LS head, but in general.  I’m an oddball though as I’ve always hit the “less forgiving” models better than the “max type” models.

Im a pretty neutral AOA guy as well.

Why aren't you playing TX for driver?  It would probably bring down spin and possibly even tighten up dispersion a bit for you.

Just the shaft that came in it for now.  I'll tinker once I'm 100% committed to this head.  Still want to test out some others.
