Lowest rounds were back in spring of 2020 and to the best of my recollection, I was using the following:

Taylor Made M3 driver

Mizuno MP001 4 and 7 woods

Mizuno JPX 850 irons

Callaway MD3 wedges

Odyssey #9 putter of some sort

Shot a 70 on a par 72 on Mardi Gras day of 2020 and then the Sunday before Memorial Day shot a 67 on a par 70. Shot -1 one other time since then during the summer of 2022.

My first PB was a +1 round. Irons were Hogan Apex II 3-SW. Don't remember what woods I had. Nicklaus milled putter.

Last year shot my all time low -2 with Apex 21 irons, Epic Max LS driver, Epic Flash fairways, Stealth Glide 2.0 wedges and Odyssey 2 ball putter. Still playing the woods and putter.

In 2006 was playing Titleist 735cm, then 2007, bought a new 2i-PW set of original Callaway X-forged with PX 6.0 shafts.  I was ecstatic about them.  Just prior I had borrowed a new X-Forged 6i from a friend who owned LGS; using 6i and 3 wedges, shot somewhere in the low 80s from 6300+ White tees; ordered a set the next day.

Don't recall exactly when I shot 68 and followed with an even Par 72 from Black tees, but it was around 2008.  Got my Hole-in-One in 2010.  They were fantastic clubs, still have them.  Eventually, in 2016 transitioned back to Titleist.  Since, my lowest was 73 with 620 MB & CB blend and still trying to better it.

What bothered me about Callaway, they capitulated to consumer complaints that X-forged were too difficult to hit; thus redesigned them and 8 months later reintroduced them.

Shot 68 when I was 21 at La Quinta Mountain.  That was over 20 years ago.  I think I had an OG R7 TP with Cally X-tour irons and Cleveland 588 wedges.  Shot 70 last year at Woodley Lakes which is a bomber's paradise with slow greens.  Had Paradym TD, SIM ti 3 metal, R11 rescue proto, New Level 623-M irons, Miura wedges and 2014 Newport 2.  Bag's still the same except driver which is now AI smoke TD and one of the Miura wedges that I gifted my father since his lob wedge was over 10 years old(Cleveland 588).

Everything in my signature accept the 4w and 4h. Back then I was using and Adams Super S 5w and a Cobra F8 3H. The irons and putter were especially hot that day.

It was last year, I played a local course two weekends in a row and shot a 79 then a 78.  Pretty good for only back playing for about 4 years and around a mid handi capper.  The course isn't very long, only runs about 5500 yards.

Score 79 - Paradym driver, 3HL, Heavenwood, old Cobra 3100 i/h graphite iron set, Powerbilt SW, Paramid putter.

Score 78 - Ping G410 LST, Ping Rapture 4wd and 7wd, Cobra 3100 i/h irons, Powerbilt SW, Paramid putter.

I also shot a 81 after that with a full set of Paradym woods and irons, Jaws 56 SW, Paramid putter.

Have been 2-4 over with every set I have owned for 30 years. Just could never keep a 18 under par.

finally cracked par last year on my home track with wrx approved bag that mostly was a year old. Plenty of non new clubs.

same irons in bag today but don’t worry I have replaced that rogue LS with a paradym, and I am fixated on the DF3 build thread so I can still be here. 😀

Ball was probably a Titleist Balata, but I don't remember.

Still have all those sticks, either on the wall or in a closet.

Tore up a shoulder lifting weights that fall, and never played that well again.

I’ve shot 63 (-8) a few times. Last time was in a tournament that moved me from 20th place up to solo 2nd finish.

Driver - Titleist 910 D3 w/original Diamana WB 83x

3 Wood - Titleist TS3

Irons - Ping s56 3-PW w/KBS C-Taper 125 (S+)

Wedges - Ping Glide 3.0 52/56/6

Putter - Seemore Zc3

The after, I pulled the shaft from my 5 iron because the ferrule was moving off the hosel so I wanted to fix it. Turns out the tip was bent. Ended up pulling all the shafts and all but 2 were bent tips. 🤣🤣🤣

I have questions.  Changed driver shaft halfway through the round huh?  Dang.

I shot a 72 one time about 14 years ago.

I think I had a Titleist driver and Exotics XCG irons (bought these blind a few years prior, was not fit for them.  Eventually when I did get fit, the fitter said the shaft was for sure not a good fit for me). Gauge Design GAA-8 putter (loved that one).

Started with a 36 on the front

Then all pars on the back until a birdie on #16...I'm sure I was licking my chops or getting nervous and had a stupid double on #17 (after a great drive).  Took a chance of trying to get on the green in 2 on the par 5 #18 - ended up on the fringe and converted the birdie for even par overall.

I did not hit alot of greens but I remember getting up and down from everywhere - great chipping and putting got the job done.

Did not get close to a 72 since then.

This is a lovely thread idea   😁

I've shot 73 on two occasions, both on the course I now call home (par 71).  One of them was from the white tees, the other from the blue tees.  Also have a 75 on a par 73, but a shortish course with five par five holes seems less interesting.  😉

In 2008, 73 from the white tees:
SMT 455DB Driver 7*, Apache PM50+ stiff, tipped 1"

Precept Tour Premium 14*, Accuflex Creation 80 X
2-PW Mizuno MS-11, DGX100
Ram Tom Watson Scoring System 55/60

Golden Ram TW Custom putter (8802 analogue)

In 2012, 73 from the blue tees:

SMT Encore 9*, AJ Tech ZTour 90 X

2-PW Ram Tour Grind TG-898, Precision stepped 6.5 shafts

Scratch 8620 53* DS grind

Ram Troon Grind 58*

Snake Eyes Viper Tour Sv1

Don't remember the ball used in either round.  Nike One Tour D is a likely candidate, as much as I used it, as is the FG Tour.

Was big into SMT in those days, largely due to the OEM habit of driver loft inflation combined with my being a high trajectory player.  I was tired of trying drivers claiming to be 8.5* loft, and hitting them with 19* launch angle because they weren't anywhere close to spec.

Changed the heavy up in my swing in the four year gap above (never knew exactly how much).  LOL
