2024 Vice Golf Balls

I'm partially colorblind and have had the best luck with bright green (Volt!) balls, but I've read so many good things about the Shade design I wanted to give them a shot, but not interested in buying 5+ dozen or paying $40 for a single box.

 

Can anyone identify what year this packaging would imply?  And does it even matter?  Any years to avoid or chase etc?

Need a picture of the side stamp to know for sure. Look at the vice website to see the 2025 side stamp, it has sharper edges on the line. The previous generation had squared off edges of the side stamp line. The Vice Pro comes in the orange/red shade and maybe another color and the pro plus comes in the orange/green shade.

Question for the regular vice users. Do they usually change the available colors for each model yearly, or does the lineup stay the same with some special editions sprinkled in? I like the orange /red fade in pro but not so much the orange green pro plus but like the pro plus ball. I have a few older ones with that color on pro plus. Was just curious if they do some sort of rotation

They almost never change the core colors. I dont even recall them making the orange/red pro plus and I’ve been playing it for years. They dont even make Pro Plus in red with this generation, which stinks because it was my go to winter ball color.

I was playing them yesterday and it  had me wondering. I want to do the 4+1 , but would love a different color....may just go white and get a dozen or 2 of the orange/yellow/green shades

I’m a yellow ball guy so their Green works great for me. It’s generally really easy to spot.

The green ball is really easy to see. I almost always buy their green balls.

yeah, I have had some as well, just like the look of the red.......I usually play drips when I buy them, but like the shades as well.

Question:  Is there any discernable difference between the 2024 model and the prior version? softer? firmer? spinier?  I'm playing through the last 3 dozen I have from a 10 doz. purchase two years ago.  I've also been playing the Maxfli Tour.  On Sunday I played a really good round, for me, and played with the same ball for all 18.  I loved the feel and performance I got out of them.  I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the special they're having until 7/16 and pick up 5 dozen.

I feel like the 2024 has a better feel, maybe a bit softer. It performs awesome for me. Always backs up 1 or 2 feet on my approach shots.

For anyone who cares, the Vice Pro Plus is on sale on Amazon for $27 a dozen.

Effectively the 6 dozen price, but you can buy them in Single dozens.

Ended up buying 5 dozen pro plus with the 30% off, got the orange/yellow shade. First impression, absolutely love them. Hit my longest drives of the year, very consistent distance across the bag, ordered 5 more dozen today. Always liked the previous model, but these are the best ball I’ve hit for my swing yet. Will pick up some tracers when they are back in stock as well

I see they have the gold Pro Plus on site now. They look cool, but those have to be a nightmare to find in fall with leaves.
