Tour BX   Just a GREAT all around ball that flat out performs in every category.  Before your suggestions I went out this afternoon and picked up a sleeve of 

 

BXS

Callaway TOUR X

BRXS

 

Reasoning is I don’t want less spin than the current BRX, so hoping the BXS is quality compromise of more spin but still good in the wind. Higher compression so who know if it will do as designed for me. 

 

Used to play the older version of the BRXS but will try the newer version.

 

Callaway TOUR X is also higher compression but read it’s really long and has great spin.

who know! Got to try and find out.

 

Will be a bit windy tomorrow and the greens at this course are raised. Will see how the 7 and hybrids spin going into the greens.

Tour BX spins considerably more than RX. BXS is the highest spin, but it’s shorter off the tee than the BX and has a lower peak height. Forget about the compression myth. That was busted a long time ago.

Tour BX is simply a solid ball. Great off the tee, spins plenty on approach shots and feels great off the putter. It's my new favorite ball.

Tried the Callaway Tour X yesterday on course.

At my ss of 85-90, easily lost 15-20 yards off the tee. YUP! Surprised it was that much as well. Felt like a hard heavy rock. 

 

Played it for 4 holes and had to take it out of play. As soon as I changed back to my current Tour BX, I was at my usual places off the tee. 

 

One down. Two to go
