TSR2 3 Wood face

Tried all the settings to see if it would fix anything but the face is really closed. Is the 3 like this? I had the tsi2 3 Wood and wasn't this bad. Having a hard time hitting this straight. Not sure if it's in my head the way it looks or what.

I’ve only ever demo’d the 3 wood but I don’t recall it looking closed. I hit it in A1 setting for reference. 
 

do you have a store nearby you could demo them?

Nothing within 3 hrs. My tsi2 broke and titleist sent me the tsr. Tsi was perfect and hit it very good. I put the shaft in the tsr and nothing like the tsi looked

Can you go back to where you bought it new. Ask to Visually compare with others. Or ask to return to Titleist for their specs check..

I got it directly from titleist. They sent me the tsr when my tsi2 face damaged. I got a response from them saying put it on the flat setting which I tried

I've sort of felt that myself, but if I rotated the face a little open I would block it at impact. So, I've just learned to deal with it as the flight ultimately has been relatively straight when I keep it neutral.

I would play around with the settings until you get it to sit the way you want it to. FWIW I have the TSi3 3wood and it definitely sits a bit more square/open looking at address. I think it's a way better club

I have my TSi2 on B2 and it sits open. There is nothing closed about titleist woods and drivers in my opinion. And if it does then just adjust it.

You have the TSr2 3 Wood? I had the tsi2 3 Wood and it wasn't closed. The tsr is

I have a tsi2 16.5 fairway that I need to set at lower loft to open the face a touch - I find with most current adjustable clubs, being fairways and drivers, that they standard setting tends to be draw biased a touch and I have had to reduce the lofts downwards to make them work for my swing- this applies to all recent titleist, taylormade and callaway models I have tried.

I have both the tsr2 and tsr3 in 16.5. They both sit neutral imo. For whatever reason, exact same specs, shaft, neutral settings, I hit noticeable draws with the tsr3, but near-perfectly straight flight with the tsr2. If anything, that would mean it prob sits a little open since I tend to draw.

 

If you feel it sits very closed, I would guess it just doesn’t suit your eye since it is a more unconventional shape rather than some kind of manufacturing thing. Maybe contact Titleist and chat w them to see if they have any suggestions or want to look at it.

You have to find the one in the shop that sits right to your eye. They have minimum tolerance I'd guess +-1*. That's the fault of fittings. You get fit order another head.
