Skycaddie SX400 vs. Pro 5X

I may need to replace my SX400 which has served me well over the past several years. But the touchscreen is getting flakey so a replacement may be on the horizon. Other than a larger screen, does the Pro 5x offer anything that the SX400 does not?

I think the new one has club tracking and maybe a couple other items, but it is essentially the sx550 that can use the GameTracker.

Thanks - now it makes sense. There had to be something new in there to cause them to release a new model.

It shows on the GameTracker web page that it will work with the SX400, SX500, SX550, and Pro 5X. The biggest difference between the SX400 and Pro 5X appears to be screen size and the case is more drop resistant. Also since it is newer, I would guess it has a faster processor.

Thanks for the comment. I just went through all the 'FEATURES' (side by side) of the SX400 and the Pro 5X. They appear to be absolutely identical.

Thanks! The GPS change might well be significant. GPS is generally pretty accurate, but there are times ...

I've been looking at the Skycaddie Pro5X, it seems like a nice unit, clear and looks per the reviews to be accurate  but for me the only subscription that would be interesting  is the statewide subscription which seems decently priced.   Not sure what I would need worldwide.  Any harden problems noted for the Pro5X anyone can share.

the size of the 5x is an issue for me - love the compact nature of the 400

I would buy a new 400 refresh in a second 

zero interest in the larger ones
