Paint fill on irons

I've got a used set of nickel Ping ISIs on the way. From the looks of the photos, I can see that some of the lettering and numbers may need some paint fill. What do you guys suggest using and how best to do it? I remember years ago, I got bought a paint marker from Golfsmith. Are there any current sources for those? Thanks!

Go buy testors from a hobby shop and use tooth picks.

Also can use nail polish from dollar store, variety of colours.  
 

The isi paint spot is a little more challenging because of the raised dot in the middle.  I’ve seen quite a few botched jobs with paint covering the raised dot and overflowing the circle entirely.  Not sure if those are just bad workmanship, or someone trying to disguise the real colour code, or both.

Testors is probably better, but I have always used nail polish and it has worked great.

Want to save your shaft paint ? Dollar Store LA Colors Clear polish works there too. With the club in your bag put a piece of tape about two.inches above the spot where the shaft touches the bag liner, take out the club put another piece two inches below that spot. Couple light coats should do it, dries fast, invisible look. No more shaft paint wear.

As others have said - run to a local craft store (mine would be Michael's) and buy the tiny $2 bottles of Testors enamel paint, some toothpicks/a needle of some sort to use as your "brush", and a small bottle of acetone - also maybe $3 at Walmart. I always let my paint dry for at least 24-48-72 hrs depending on how thick the text/fill i'm doing is before I swipe it with the acetone to remove any excess around the fill. If you don't let it dry and it's still tacky, it'll streak and you'll have to start over. Just my two cents!

Not sure what brand it is but the hobby section at your local Walmart carries small (2 oz) bottles of enamel acrylic paint that I've used and it holds up well, decent selection of colors, maybe a couple bucks each.

Got a set I am getting ready to do paint fill on as well - got these little bottles with the needle tip from golf works - they work pretty easily for my meat paws so I like them but they can be a little messy. I keep plenty of acetone on hand. Gotta go by Michael’s and pick up some folkarts brushed metallic gold for the gold fill and find the best match for the blue dots.

Sure... whoever makes the plush divider $300-500 version. Or you could invest $2 and 15 minutes  of your precious time. ☺
