Ping ISI Update

Spent the afternoon yesterday watching the PGA on my laptop in the garage while I cleaned and refilled the paint on my of ISIs that I just purchased from "Quickshipgolf" on eBay. I used a enamel paint pen by Sharpie. Worked great. You simply fill in th numbers and lettering with the tip and wipe off any excess. Easy. I think I did pretty well for only paying $61.00 for 6-PW. I can't wait to try them out. Hopefully that will be tomorrow.

I have a set of isi heads 4-pw in a bucket in my office--my favorite looking Ping irons if the 80's/90's

I took them to the range today. Did ok, considering it is the first time I've hit them. It is a change from my S59s, which have little offset and not as much cavity.  In the end, these, because of my age, 68, and handicap, probably fit my game better now than the S59s.

I might have 4-sw...have to check.  lol  Never used them.  Bought them a few years ago and have tried to re-sell unsuccessfully because I never got around to doing anything with them. I also have a set of DG X100 sensicore shafts brand new I haven't used either.   

 

Never will use them now...the iblades aren't going anywhere.  The isi's were great though.   Never used them... my first Pings were second hand Zings I got as a college graduation present in 2002.  Bought custom-fit i3+ irons in 2003.  Also owned s59's and s56's before the iblades.
