T200 are SOOOO long and straight

Honestly the New T200 are amazing

If they would spin just a tad more they could be the Goat for me.

 

Hit a few amazing iron shots today best in a while but they just don't hold on the greens when i hit them a tad thin...

 

Super Super good irons though.  Forgiveness is insane.

Well the key insight of the modern "players distance" category is, if you're willing to give up the ability for approach shots to hold firm greens, then for players with decent clubhead speed the sky's the limit for distance, height and heel-toe forgiveness. It's not a bad tradeoff for a lot of golfers, hence the immense popularity of that type of iron nowadays.

Just have to get used to playing them to run out a little.  I don't like it but almost will commit because they are so easy to hit

15 years or AP2 / T100 / T100s / Mizuno MPs.  With the Srixon ZX7 both generations on and off.

I changed to a ball with more spin and they are unbelievable now.

I've owned the T200 as well and agree change your ball (Vice Pro+ or Vice Pro) and the T200's will become the "goat" for you

I have had T200 for a couple generations now, and can’t notice a loss of stopping power so might be shaft?  I see extra height for sure but even partial shots spin pretty good for me, and I play all over so see firm greens sometimes and don’t feel like I’m at a disadvantage. Hope you figure it out, as I agree, these are insane balance of looks and performance.

I had the 2021 T200's and they went so high for me I had 0 issue with stopping power but I also had plenty of spin with them (6500rpm with a 7iron at around 92mph CHS) My issue with them was that I was hitting them tooo high (135+ feet in the air) which combined with the spin I was getting meant that anytime I played in the wind it was a nightmare.

Haven't had a chance to hit the newest model, but I loved the previous version - if I were in the market for a set, I'd probably look for a blended set of T200s in the longer irons and 150s in the shorter irons.

I’m told I hit these pretty high as well, but so far my distances are reliable and in the wind I don’t see them blowing backwards or anything… I can flight extra club down

T200s still in rotation with T150s - New ZX7 are out for good - they prior ones were much better IMO.

But I don’t yet need the distance part of the “Player’s Distance Iron” description.  
 

I’m afraid to bend them weak for fear of tweaking the bounce and offset.

I just picked up a set of 2023 T200 6-PW used and in mint condition.  I have the 5-iron coming Friday from Titleist.  I have been playing 2021 T100 and although I like them a lot, the T200 are more forgiving.  Of course, they are significantly stronger lofts than my T100 irons, but the forgiveness and distance gains are spectacular.  I don't hit them so low I can't hold greens.  They are gorgeous irons.  I am a huge Titleist fan.

I did not hit the 2021 model, but I have seen videos where the comment was it was an improved sound with the 2023.  I have been to the range several days with them and have been very impressed all the way around.

Ive tested so many different irons this year

T150, PXG, 243 and 790....

 

T200 are the best for me.  Best combination of looks / feel / distance , ....

 

Just have to live with a bit of rollout on the long irons.

2 years ago was a 2.1.  Had 55 rounds in a row sub 79.

 

Broke my hand in Sept of 2023 and haven't recovered yet and struggling mighy bad.
