Love them, so much more than I loved the T150. They just work for me. And they feel soft to me, which I know is subjective.

I agree. I tried to force the 150 on myself on 3 occasions.  They just don't work for me.

The 200 are point and shoot.

I bought them when they came out, paired them with the Steelfiber i110s and have been happy with them, 6 - PW.

4 index and hit them for the first time yesterday along with the T150. Preferred the T200 as well as it felt soft and very forgiving. I tried both the AMT S300 Black and White and noticed about a 2 degree higher launch with the Black.

I'm currently in a combo ZX5/ZX& (4-6, 7-PW) and Modus 120S. Really enjoyed the higher flight of the Black which is lighter in weight but don't have any clue how the long or short irons will feel since I only hit a 7i.

My Modus 7i launches around 17* and the T200 with Black was 18-19 (couple into the 20s). Is that too high?

Any help here?

Yep, they are straight and long.  Last weekend using T200 2i got 208 down the middle, into a breeze, of a 410 yd dog-leg right Par 4.  On top of the breeze, Father time is busting my chops, used to be my 225 club.

I play the new T200 17' 2 iron with Pro 95i Tour Spec "S", also have the T200 4i; It's a fine club but don't carry it because I much prefer the T100 set 3i & 4i with MMT 95S.

I quite like my T200 (2023 gen), and just added a 4i which is awesome.

pros; feel good for hollow bodies, small and compact profile despite being a distance iron, they look great.

cons; they don’t feel like single piece forged irons (not really their fault), biggest complaint is that if I thin it at all, even if the shot looks good and still has height and distance, I’ll lose a ton of backspin on the ball.

I have a backup set of Mizuno pro 223 that I also love and those hit all the right numbers. But the T200s are a bit longer and theoretically are more forgiving. I like both tbh but I play the Titleists more often. Considering swapping in T150 for 7-GW in the future, if I don’t switch to the Mizunos full time.

But specifically regarding long and straight, sure I guess I’d agree. They’re not nearly as long as the P790 and I wouldn’t really call them straight compared to other comparable clubs. When I’m hitting the ball well anything is straight. I don’t think the T200 is so forgiving that it fixes swing flaws , but if OP liked the feel and it just worked then I’m sure it’s easier to keep em straight.

2 years ago was a 2.1.  Had 55 rounds in a row sub 79.

Broke my hand in Sept of 2023 and haven't recovered yet and struggling mighy bad.

Up to a 10.

Same thing here.... popped my Achilles in 2020 and the rust game is real.

Now I understand when a pro gets a "real" injury and struggles for years.... its not weird lol

Can't figure how to like my own posts

I, too, find the 200s to be wonderful. I still prefer the 150 in the short irons but the 6 and 7 are hard to beat for me.

I’m even considering ordering a 5 to see how it goes. If well, maybe the 4.

I struggle to believe they’d be easier to hit than the 350 but the big sole on the latter may be hurting me more than helping I’m afraid.

For someone who plays the 2023 version of P770's, how would the T200's compare? Titleist is coming to my club this Saturday and I think I would like to give them a try.

Not an apples to apples comparison. 770 is more in line with T150 and 790 would be the T200 comparison. Have hit the new generation p770 vs the 150s I game and did not think they were better in any category except for maybe a touch more forgiving, very minimal though. I have the T200 in the 4 iron and love it. The title of this post is how I’d give my response on the T200 4 iron. Just so good, point and shoot.

I compared the T200 with the Paradym irons last week and the Paradym were longer and straighter but don’t look or sound nearly as good.

anyone else test these two?

Yes.

Indoor sim only. Paradym were 4-6 yards longer per club but felt noticeably harsh IMO versus the softer T200. Plus I don’t need to hit a 180 yard 7 iron.

Usually 7 or 8 clubs from: D, 3, 4h, 5h, 6-G, 56 & 60 + P.

I went on a blades adventure during the last 3 months and then played a round with my T200s the other day, I feel like an idiot ever leaving the T200s...

also: always loved the look of the T150s and bought a set and they felt crap compared to the t200s

Good story.  I was playing with a friend the other day. He had a brand new set in the bag. Regular flex AMT black steel shafts.  I currently play AP1 710s with Nippon 105T regular flex shafts.  I’m a decent player not great, current index is 4.5 which is low for me. My swing speed with the driver is about 90 and I hit my 7 iron about 145 yards.

Par 3 13th hole is playing 153 yards.  I hit my six iron to about 20 feet left of the hole and the guy asked me if I want to try his clubs. So I said sure and he handed me his 7 iron because they are a little stronger lofted than my current clubs.

as soon as I hit it, I heard nothing and felt nothing and I knew it was perfect. High towering draw starting right of the hole drawing back in.  I immediately turned away and looked at him and said two things. First, “don’t go in” and second, “I hate you” because this is going to cost me a lot of money.  About two seconds pass and the guy starts screaming oh my oh my oh my it hit the stick it hit the stick.  Long story short, the ball pitched about 3 yards short of the hole, bounced forward, hit the stick square, and came to rest 3 feet below and left of the hole.

@AdmiralPicard Recent T200 convert here as well - why do you prefer T150 in the short irons? More feedback/responsive for approach shots? Hear a lot of ppl say that. Do you have 8-GW in T150?

I'm getting so much distance with my T200s that my gapping is now all effed up. Just got some new vokeys to fix that 😀

I just don’t need any extra help with ball speed in the short irons so the 150s just work better for me.

The 200s do look great but I just preferred the look of the 150s as well.

No gap wedge for me, I go from the pitching wedge to a 50° SM10.

Like how you go from 350s in 4/5 to 200s in mids to 150s in short irons

I'm gonna keep iterating

A 50* is not a gap wedge? Educate me.

July 2024 back story for posts: I quit 20 yrs ago after left shoulder rotator cuff surgery didn't work. Tried again ten years ago, again hung it after a few months trying due to pain. Late July 2024, trying again but still enduring shoulder pain (and from other old injuries!). Rotator cuff surgery scheduled for Jan 2025. Used to be a golfaholic, got to scratch and better around age 50, love the game, aging ain't for sissies!

Same boat. I went 4/5 iron t200 6-pw t150. After about a week I ordered the t150 5 iron so now just have the t200 4 iron. The t200 long irons are so money
