T200 are SOOOO long and straight

Another T200 fan. Played the entire Titleist lineup, plus other brands in this class and this model beats them all for my game.

Wonder if the '25 release comes in a matte finish.

Titleist fixed the '21 issues, so where else would players like to see improvement?

Surely they have to get rid of that rear plastic badge this time around.

What do you think they could do instead? Could you still preserve the t200 performance? Open back? Weld it up?

Great question. I’m not exactly sure. Maybe a fully enclosed head like the P790/Cobra forged tech? Maybe a larger t150 style iron if they could somehow preserve the t200 performance? Either way I’m very interested in seeing what’s next.

Recently, was having issues with 2023 T200 2i, thinking it was the head and me, so changed shafts several times, only to experience the same result.  Decided to have the loft & lie checked.  Turns out somehow it was 2' upright from stock.

Had it reset to 59', flat from stock and took it to the course last weekend.  On a Par 5, hit a sweet drive to the middle near my much younger buddies ball. Damn, I love doing that... Got a lot of hoopla too because that was a first on that uphill hole to be even close.  Then I pulled T200 17' 2i with Tensei AV Raw White Hybrid 90S, SW at D3, off the deck, smacked DASH uphill 205yds, for a 90yd leave in the middle, more hoopla.  Helluva club!

Yea for T200.

you guys still loving the T200.

I used my brothers for a few round last year and loved them.

They are likely in the bag for 2025 just going to try the ZX7s first

I like mine a lot. Spent a lot of years in Ping GI irons and these feel a lot more svelte while still packing a punch for forgiveness and distance. There's a part of me that really wants to try the Srixon ZXi5's because I do think there is something special about a soft, forged, cavity back. And at 31 degrees 7i their distance should be fine. I'm just blown away at how wide the soles are. They seem fatter than a Ping G430 (which I wanted to move to something thinner) yet everyone speaks of the ZXi5's as if they are targeted for a totally different (i.e. better) handicap bracket.

Got to hit the 4i yesterday at miles of golf demo days. Damn cold, rainy and just not good weather. 1st swing, flush. Repeated flush after flush. I'm a devoted srixon irons guy but this 4i might be my utility build this year. Was getting 190 total yards off trackman in that weather.

Im still playing the 2023 black release of the T100S and love them mostly. Probably ordering a t200 or t350 4 iron from the new release coming out tomorrow to gap a little better to my 5 wood.

Anyone have a comparison of the T200 vs T350 long iron by any chance?

No comparison, but I got to hit the 4i T200 this weekend.  Blew me away.  Ive hit it before and really it just shines.  If you are in the 100, I might think the 350 would look super out of place down by the ball.  I really enjoyed the T200.

They have a new iron release tomorrow?  I must have missed that.  I have been looking at the T200's for a while and hoping the release will bring the prices down!

The black releases tomorrow I believe

Yes, I just got an email saying "New Limited Edition T-Series Black Irons - Now Available for Pre-order".

I am piecing a combo set together between the T150 (8-GW) and T200 (5&6), missing 7 iron.  Hit them for the first time last Saturday...love the T150's...not so much yet on the T200's...didn't feel as soft as the 150s.  I also need to swap shafts on the 5 & 6....too heavy for me (bought used), so I will withhold judgement (new shafts are on the way).  The next question is do I get the 7 in the T150 or T200?  I am scouring all the usual places for a 7 iron, but non of either to be found at a reasonable price...(rather buy new than $180 for a used one).

Just have to get used to playing them to run out a little.  I don't like it but almost will commit because they are so easy to hit

The notion of an iron running out is not something I will ever concede in golf.  Hot July day, pin tucked up front, fast greens - I don't play coming in low and hot with a concession of running out.  That's not golf.

There’s a little gathering of the best players in the world every July and they don’t seem to think it’s “not golf” to let the ball land in front and run out.

Except when there is a bunker/pond in front of the green with a tucked pin, like there is on 4 holes at my home course.

The difference between your "little gathering" is that the golf course is mandating the run-up, not the CLUBS.

But the clubs being used at The Open Championship also allow for a run-up so…

Is it really the clubs, or the skill of the user?

It's also a fallacy that something like the T200 is going to run out more than something smaller like the T100 when you look at variables other than spin, such as distance, peak height and descent angle. In this case its nonsensical to compare 7i to 7i and then complain about 500-600 rpms of spin when the T200 is carrying 11 yards further. In the real world it's 6i vs 7i for the same shot on the golf course, at which point their green holding abilities are very, very similar.

We're on the same page.  Nothing wrong with T200.

The subject author said he doesn't mind that he (personally) hits them low and hot, so he'll just "run them up".  I implied that mode of play doesn't suit every situation.

I blamed "the clubs" as being defined as the clubs in his hands that he hits low into greens..
