I just think that they've failed if they were trying to convince me that these clubs were about anything different than their balls.

A club that was first announced 2 days ago and has yet to be hit by a single human being (publicly) for viewer consumption... Has already failed to convince you they're serious equipment options.

So without knowing how they feel, how they spin, how far they go, how they sound, gap, etc... You've already completely written them off, because... They offer the same paint fill options as Srixon?

Okay 👍

Speaking of Srixon, were they a high end premium ball company before bringing their irons to market that are now considered among, and often the, best in the market?  I don't know the relationship with Dunlop, or the history of the 2 companies in the golf world, or what the ball price markets were when they came to market.

It may feel great! Ive written them off because there is…. one shaft option in steel and one in graphite and they seem to be made for (or at least they’re not telling anyone what they are, if they’re just relabeled from something else). There is…a single degree of loft/lie customization…for the same price as DTC brands that offer a ton more customization and basically as much as Cobra, who has every major shaft made available and can be tried at any big box store in the US.  Their focus seems to again be on style.

They’re highly unlikely to attract the crowd from this website with that lack of customization options. How many people complain here that PXG doesn’t offer enough shaft options? A bunch on here. And they offer a lot more than one.

And they don’t seem to be headed for big box stores. They’ve done an exclusive with Club Champion—which if they offer customization, will drive the price up another 400-500 bucks because they add the shaft charge on top of the retail prices at CC.

Sub70 worked in part because they were cheaper than the big boys and Jason is an unbelievably knowledgable guy who was available to discuss his products, fitting, etc. with customers.  He was able to build sub70 before prices crept up due to supply etc.  Look at the thread here on New Level complaining about buying their stuff because it got to the point it was almost as expensive as big brands and it held crap value and there is nowhere to try it. I  would bet you don't see much New Level from your average golfer at courses.

Agreed on all of this. I play Sub70 639 CB/MB irons and really really like them, not to mention their customer service is the best in the golf biz. I have no need to leave my 639's but I also bought them when I was able to get 4-PW for about $650, hand built for me. As much as I like them though, next go around for irons I'd likely stick with a major OEM unless something changes because I know they'll hold their value. I don't mind taking a hit on resale values when I can get fully customized irons for $650 but once you approach that $1k mark, forget it. Sorry Sub70, I love ya, but unless I'm going to play a set of irons for 20 years the value on the backend just isn't there when major brands aren't that much more in the grand scheme of things.

So back to Vice, starting out at about $1100 for 4-PW....no chance. Even if I could customize them as much as physically possible, they just won't be worth it at that price. My guess is their big market will be through CC where someone will then drop $2500 for a set of Vice irons with Dynamic Golds.

I'll keep playing the Pro Plus but they can keep the clubs.

They got some pretty cheap Epons there too.

There's a good chance that they're counterfeit.  Aliexpress has some sketchy sellers on their site.

This price point makes ZERO sense. Website doesn't even define "mens standard" length. "made for" shafts which screams cost cutting. VERY weird look at address with a weird topline/hosel transition that's chunky. I just don't understand the release. It's just not competitive with either DTC or pro line brands.

Definitely true. My point when I compared them to Aliexpress irons is that these are just another iron forged somewhere that they throw a logo on. About 3 years ago I bought a set of “Honma” heads on Aliexpress. I built them up for my 10 year old with junior shafts. They are very high quality, forged, bend with no issue, the head weights were dang near perfect and are a great performing club. He has loved them. Are the fake, yes. Are they lesser quality than some DTC clubs, my opinion no. I was trying to be funny but also was serious.

oof that is very weird looking, I agree on the price point not making any sense. Their putters are quite weird too, just an odd move by Vice. Guess they got bored just making balls or something like that.

Vice Golf is working with HIO Golf experts for Fitting and it makes only sense to order them after a fitting. Because they do not specify the shafts at all, only the weight class and flex. For the first time a DTC brand offers their products and their full spectrum of possibilities for the central european market. Thank you VICE GOLF

sorry my North American Friends, now you maybe feel how frustrating it can be to see brands like New Level Golf or Maltby and be not able to try them out before buying and the Return policy can be frustrating if you have to organize the shipping for yourself

I am looking forward to do so, the first Vice Golf clubs are available at the local 2nd hand market … I am not sure if this is a good Sign….

but maybe WRX is organizing a member test for this products?

I'm happy to see they have finally added left handed irons & putters to their lineup. They also lowered their prices. I purchased a VGI02 7 iron just to test out. LH are still pre-order & was told they would ship mid April.  Any YT reviews I've seen have been positive. Would also like to hear from anyone who has gamed them.

Originally ordered the 7 VGI02 7 iron but was sent a VGI01 7 iron. Ended up keeping it & reselling it online. Was given a promo code for a full set of LH VGI02 irons which finally arrived 2 1/2 months later. Took out to course & gave them a try & was pleasantly surprised. They are strong lofted like a players distance club so they definitely have some pop. I had zero trouble folding greens from inside 150. These were the stock KBS Tour Lite stiff flex shafts.

No complaints so far. Feel / sound is very subjective but I think most would agree it's above average. The only complaint I have was the wait time of 2 1/2 months. They did offer me a free dozen Vice golf balls of my choice to help ease the pain of the wait.
