Well, not sure who the Secret Santa is that reached out to Toulon on behalf of my above post, but Preston Toulon reached out to me via email and helped me out.  Just placed the order and looking forward to trying out this mallet.  Been in blade putters for a while and it will be hard to look down at a larger hunk of metal but I feel like I've been missing very makeable putts lately and just need to shake it up a little and see if this works.  

 

Toulon as a company has rocketed to the top of my favorite companies list.  

 

And to my Secret Santa...you rock whoever you are and you have my gratitude!  👍

They rock, and treat their customers in a different manner than most.

 

It’s a breath of fresh air. You add beautiful putters and customers stay true.

 

We have a pretty big 2 day tournament at our little club end of May, raise money for HS golf teams, next sponsor we add, am going to order another putter for the raffle.

 

Have a cover already..

Funny you talk about a HS team, I’ve got a former student of mine on our team who is now interested in a Toulon putter. I talked to her about her tournaments in and around spring break and then she had asked about the trip. She couldn’t believe it and then we proceeded to browse the Toulon ‘25 range during the lunch shift she’s in. She’s our top player and is very intrigued by the putters in the new line. I think Atlanta H1 and Vegas H1 have her interest.

It’s funny how a putter can sense when you’re testing things out and then performs flat out. I was struggling with my speed since coming back home but all it took was taking Alcatraz H1 CB and Hollywood out for Atlanta to just beat them with ease. Alcatraz was the next best followed by Hollywood. I certainly was more accurate with Atlanta from the start but I also switched to the Pro V1, which is soft but not quite as soft as the TP5. I know that’s weird but I’m quite acute to weight changing in a club and the feel a ball can make. Since the milling is deeper, it’s softer than ‘24.

They looked incredible when I was there a couple of weeks back. The silver weights looked great and the finish, fit, and colors are perfect.

That Hollywood is sweet! Ticks all of my blade boxes. Hoping for a LH blade option with a tri sole and sight dot in the future. I wonder if the demand is there in the lefty market for a Carbon Proto release.

Unfortunately, the demand isn’t quite there yet. Carbon Proto was such a hit and I’d imagine they’d do it again at some point. They sold Vegas QUICK. Hollywood was moving well for being a blade. The majority of sales in the putter market is mallet driven - zero torque or not. You see why they did so many mallet options this year with 2025.

Definitely makes sense. I like several of them.  I find that for me mallets with more weight forward designs offer more controllable speed than the low-torque heads, which I seem to consistently leave short on longer putts (like JJ Spaun). So these Toulons are right up my alley. 
 

The New York City is pretty much a mid-mallet and I think it’s a nice option for those who want a blade look but with a little more stability. But I really like the tri-sole on the Hollywood. 
 

That Rancho Sante Fe looks really nice too! I am a sucker for D-shaped small mallets.

Spot on. The Valhalla they did was a perfect mixture of forgiveness and good looks, going with a wide blade. They removed some weight and pushed it in areas that would increase MOI. I love mine. It’s probably the one I go back to the most, along with Hollywood. 
 

The mallets perform very well. We saw that my consistency was even tighter with the Atlanta H1 compared to Vegas, Alcatraz Mini, and Alcatraz H1.  While they “worked“, Atlanta was just more consistent. It’s a nice mid-mallet shape that is pleasing to my eye.

You'll be so happy with them. They looked so incredible when I was there, and I knew I had to find a way to get one. I went with Rancho since the España is cousin to Dallas, which I didn't get on the best with. A beautiful shape, though. Enjoy them both!

 

I can't wait to get some good images of mine once I get it in.

Hollywood is a favorite of mine. I have a carbon proto from the earlier release but they have it in the ‘25 line and it’s a very similar shape to that. Design and performance wise, it’s very good. It’ll always have a spot in my rotation that’s for sure. 
 

Also, the dot frees me up when I’m feeling a bit too technical with my stroke and setup. Line up the face and go!

Just ordered one today.  I have many other sight dot blades so adding this one is a no brainer.  Also decided to try out that Diamana shaft in it.

Do they let you specify which weight on the Diamana?  On the order form it doesn't seem to have the option.  They come in 105 and 135.

The Diamana is such a good shaft. I may send my Hollywood Carbon Proto or La Jolla in for one. Not sure which yet.

Yep, only 105g is what I saw.  If I had the option I would have probably chosen the 135g with the 1.0 flex but shouldn't really be a big deal. I did have a LA Golf 105g shaft before in another putter and it was fine so can't imagine this would be much different. 

 

What's more interesting to me is that Odyssey and Toulon usually have their blade putters (or mallets with plumber neck) with a .370 hosel.  The Diamana shafts only come in .355 from what I see which means they are likely  just using a shim to install the shaft.  The Las Vegas I just bought a week or two ago has a .370 as I pulled the stock steel shaft and installed a UST All-In shaft in it.  Would imagine the Hollywood is also a .370.
