Alcatraz H1 comes with 5’s.

 

We have 5g weights in the build shop - meaning nearly any putter we make can be made to 350g head weight.

And in some cases a bit lighter.

I've had incredible rounds with both, but the Chicago is probably the one I roll best. Sadly, it slipped out of my hands in the rain on a rough cart path last year. Had to bench it for a bit to get that pissed off thought out of my mind. I think it's going back in this weekend though. It's been rolling really great when practicing lately. Confidence is back!

Long Island, Seattle, Austin and San Diego. IMO the Austin is the best Anser style putter out there. I just didn’t make enough putts with it.

The first-run Austin with the dot only alignment is about as pure an Anser-style as you’ll find. Looks so good. I do also like the San Diego and I’d love to see a plumber’s neck Chicago. But if I buy a first-run model, it likely would be the Austin.

I first bought a Memphis, for no reason at all.

 

Confirmed my hatred for mallets and move onto some blades. I had an old brass bullseye and an odyssey entry blade.

 

Saved up my pennies and bought a nice black Latrobe, another classic look in my opinion.

 

Choco San Diego was next, it was reasonably priced and beautiful finish I hadn't seen before. 

 

The SSM proto was the dream putter, I couldn't get the chrome, then they released the black one. Had to get it through eBay due to their ridiculous allocation process. 

 

Now I'm collecting, I love the original lineup and I'm not fond of the Odyssey logo.

 

Went a bit mad in a newly found second hand site. Rose gold Madison, Long Island, Austin and recently, Palm Beach. 

Just last night, I weighed out the heads, as I'm planning to try and arm lock conversion on one, or some of them.

 

Attached the files of interested.

Please note some have 20g soles, instead of the 7g.

 

I picked up some brass plates, I think they're beautiful and rare. 

Nice fork and market from the SSM and some strange square markers I found recently. Types of of treasury with a weight kit tool.

I've got a rose gold San Francisco and Madison, along with a Memphis from the new first runs. They really improved the milling on the new models going much lighter with it. How Scotty Cameron has such a cult following but Toulon continuously gets overlooked is beyond me. The finishes on these putters are the best I've ever seen in person.

They provide a firmer feel but not harsh. I’d say closer to a Special Select feel since the milling is more shallow.

Had an H4 Atlanta years back and sold it, still have C/S Memphis. I love the feel of Toulon milling, hoping I like the SB feel/sound.

Hopped aboard the Toulon train and snagged an OTR Daytona Beach. It was difficult choosing between that and the Le Mans, super excited to get it outside and see how it performs!

Bruh ! That's absolutely sick. Congrats. So beautiful and clean. 

 

Just converted my SSM into reverse arm lock, let's see how it performs, didn't hit any balls yet. Just installed last night. Sits nice, zero toe hang, maybe 2-3* .

It's a Winn Bettinardi grip, but you'd never know 😏. 

Stability carbon shaft I got cheap a while ago, limited on the lower shaft as I don't have another flare tip handy, not sure if there are any rules about it, but only 3 inches off shaft between the head and stability section. Extended it maybe 6 inches at the top.

 

Put a Flatcat on the Madison. The green compliments the shaft well and looks better in the gold than chrome. (Limited by the hotel type)

There is no 15 gram weight that I know of. The available weights were 7, 20, and 40 grams.

Never heard of a 10 gram. The 7 gram was used with the steel shaft, 20 gram with the stroke lab shaft, and 40 gram with the longer shafts. Also there was a Super Stroke grip that could use to create a counter balanced putter. If you ordered the putter with the 25 gram grip weight, you got the 20 gram head weight. The 50 gram grip weight, you would get the 40 gram head weight.

I had a 10. Think they were tour only.  Also had a 30 or 35 as well, so they’re out there. Probably a 15 too but don’t remember seeing any.

Okay, y'all. I will drop some literature soon on this one, but check this out. I'll leave this Small Batch Texas here for y'all to gaze on. I'm not trying to flex but this is the sickest putter I've ever had my hands on. While I'll get more Toulon putters like this in the future, this one will never leave my hands.

They’re close in overall footprint. The Le Mans will give a squared off look at the address position compared to the Alcatraz overall. The window is sharp on the Alcatraz but still provides a smoother and more rounded appearance.

Finally got my '24 Las Vegas out on the course today. Birdied 1 and 18 with it. 

 

It feels wonderful, soft and precise like only a milled putter ever can feel.

 

It's got the Diamana 105 in it. I'm still not sold on graphite from a performance standpoint although it definitely can't hurt, and I do like the way it looks better. 

 

Roll was really good, and I felt really confident in alignment. 

 

I now have two putters I love (Odyssey Tri-Hot 7Ch), when I haven't had 1 I've loved for about 6 years after having my Rife Barbados stolen, which had been in the bag for 10 years. 

 

Now to test the two putters side by side a bit more.

Awesome to hear about your Vegas. They’ve got that solid “tock” sound and put a good roll on the ball. I might be putting a Diamana in my Texas like I did the Vegas.
