On a side note, I happened to be watching an old Playing Lesson with Lexi this afternoon.  Looked to me like there was a lot of rotational force being generated in her swing, but I didn’t see a lot of lateral movement there either, and Lexi herself is a big hitter.  So maybe getting to the left side isn’t necessarily all it’s cracked up to be anyway…at least in some cases. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I know TPI gets shitted on here, but that was the best advice I've seen in a long time. If I had time to get lessons from anyone, they would be my first choice.

Really interesting how he changed his movement pattern possibly not for the better while trying to play competitive golf.  Force plate data to the rescue I guess.  Will be fun to see him compete in long drive again!

Dr. Greg Rose is a pioneer in golf biomechanics.  He's well respected in the golf community.  I had a chance to speak with him briefly many years ago and the man knows his stuff.

It might not have been the better for long drive, but maybe was for scoring.  Can't say for sure though...

All these GRF drills to increase clubhead speed, yet they didnt show him gaining any 😂...

He was probably wore out from all the exercises they had him do. I'd imagine it might take a little time to reap benefits.

Or voluntarily pushing the the ground randomly, doesnt actually do anything in your golf swing...

 

I think its becoming more apparent that GRF are just a by-product of your intent to swing your arms fast.
