Callaway 2X Trade-in Bonus (June 2nd to July 1st)

Yes correct. I do believe it went away at a point because I tried to and it didn’t show a bonus. I never got an email about it so I was just stating it isn’t targeted.

Apex 75% bonus was ending earlier this week. I had a set of Apex ‘21 irons sitting around unused. I had some Callaway credit sitting around unused.

 

Pulled the trigger, and picked up a set of Apex Ai300 irons with Steelfiber i110 shafts for basically net zero costs (custom length, loft, lie and soft-step). Ordered Sunday, received today (Friday). Beautiful, and hope they play as good as they look.

150% coming in the next few weeks to all, unknown if it’ll be for Elyte line only. 2x has usually been middle of the year in the past.

Callaway currently has 50% trade-in bonus for trade-ins and 10% discount on Elyte and Apex.

The 50% bonus was extended through June 30 so 2x looks doubtful in June.

IIRC they did a 2x around Aug-Sept, but I also recall Cally doing it two times last summer so maybe it was the second round?

I have a feeling Cally lost their shirts last year in the 2x stuff as folks cleaned out the AI Smoke stuff.  I would be shocked if they did 2x again this year personally.  JMHO

Yeah, it’s a shame values dropped. I’d definitely make a purchase at 2x trade, 1.5 isn’t nearly as attractive.

callaway is very aggressive with this 2X. I assumed they would not do it this year with as long as they offered the 1.5X.  It gets a ton of people playing newer callaway clubs. I wish TM would do this.

Has anyone gone through with a purchase? I have an Elyte 3W in cart, along with some trade in clubs, and its not showing 2x trade in value anywhere on the purchase screen.

Edwin Watts will also be honoring this. Last year at our local Watts they let us trade multiple clubs for say a new driver, that part is a no go this year.  1 for 1 trade unless its an iron set of course.

Do we know why big box stores are doing this...when the callaway website doesn't limit you to this? are stores losing out or are they taking it upon themselves to change the deal.
