Let's say you trade in 250 dollars worth of stuff, Callaway will give you another 250 in trade in benefits.  But once you reach 500 in trade in benefits, no matter how much you trade in, it will not give you extra.

 

For example, you trade in 2 sets of irons that in total are worth $1000, the maximum trade in bonus you'll get is $500, so youre total trade in value is $1500.  If you trade in $700, the maximum you'll get as a bonus is still $500 so you're total is $1200.

Max is $500 for the added bonus. 
 

So just using your example, let’s say you had a driver valued as $500 on your list, you would receive $1000 total. You’d have to purchase $1000 or over in qualifying products for the system to let you check out.
 

Another example would be I had 3 Paradym heads from last year, valued at $200 each on their list.  Total would be $600 for all three, then max on bonus would apply at $500 equaling $1100 to spend.

Traded in a Bettinardi and a TSR2 driver...got TD Max (KBS TD shafts are $0 upcharge) and 4 dozen Chrome Tour balls and paid $90. I had $50 in points with them also. 

 

With the bonus I got what I paid for out of the Betti, and got $440 out of a TSR2 (which is now a cycle old with GT news today). 

 

Not too shabby.

I just need to convince my better half on this. I can buy a relatively cheap driver on CPO and a uber cheap shaft, trade that driver in and my gamer and basically pay $225 for a brand new driver (basically the cost of the CPO driver).

Just saw the AMEX credit. How does the trade-in credit apply? Will this be a refund to the original transaction? If that's the case, the AMEX credit will be revoked too.

last year the trade refund was processed as a separate transaction (not linked to original purchase) so the AMEX credit wasn't clawed back

How'd you get that much for the TSR2? I thought about trading in a TSR but the trade-in value was only $180

Well, I had it in my cart before they were doing the 2x. I got on today and say the $220 value was still in my cart and the bonus was listed at $220. Just luck I guess.

My AI Smoke TD Max has shipped! I am so surprised that it came faster than the woods. I opted in for the stock because I will replace the shaft anyway.

Is it out of stock or a website issue. I see the button is grey but the customization popup fails to load properly.

 

With the 2X promo I could def see them overselling their initial preorder already, though.

That's what happened to me. Bought Women Paradym X irons for $680. My wife didn't like it so it went to trade-in for $900. 😁
