Few years  ago I believe limited release was 499.00 ..but only 50 made.  Maybe 6 Years back

Looks like they release the A+ grind. Not the K*. According to the release description it is a modified M/A Grind.

A+ is a pretty cool one. Quite popular amongst tour players. It’s basically a smoothed out M-Grind, whereas the A is a smoothed out L-Grind.

The A+ is a tour grind that’s been in the bags of Jason Day, Adam Scott and many more rotate it in and out. Used the be called the AD+. 
 

I haven’t hit one but am a long time M user and recently moved on from it because it began feeling a bit….clunky. I’m now playing the T grind. The A+ is intriguing. Here’s an article from earlier this year explaining a bit more background.

A+ is something I wanted 30 years ago.  I was really hoping for the K*.   ‘Whatnogarnish’ was spot on about not seeing the triple sole.  A bit bummed.

You can go the route ‘DoubleDawg22’ took and add the $75 handground option to the Low Bounce K.  If

you want personal stamping and a shaft upgrade, it’ll be around $400.  

 

Unfortunately, it looks as if I’ll be waiting.  I may try the MG TW sand wedge, as that seems to be a similar grind.  But that’s 12 degrees of bounce.  I was hoping for this grind in a lob wedge with 6-8 of bounce.

One can only hope if they ever do release the K*, it comes in left-handed unlike the AD+.  Frustrating as I was ready to pull the trigger on that one.

I also ordered mine this morning, gonna see how it plays especially in Ohio. Usually play a bit firmer courses with softer sand. But we will see how it handles the spring time. I usually carry the M grind but have been looking forward to this for awhile. Got mine in the S400 onyx and 1.5 degree flat. No other special treatment, but the tour grind always looks appetizing.

I have been messing with this for a few days on the practice green and it is an impressive sole. The pre worn leading edge grind really keeps the leading edge down on the tightest lies making it very easy to get under the ball. The trailing edge relief keeps the leading edge closer to the ground than I thought it would when you open the face. Good wedge players should be able to manipulate the face without any limitations and hit a variety of shots. The wedge gets through the turf quickly and keeps the divot depth relatively shallow for a lower bounce sole, maybe a touch more digging than the L grind for me.

did all that extra grinding on the heel/toe/trail/leading effect how it behaved from bunkers ??
