MGI Zip Navigator AT v MGI Ai Navigator

I'd be buying sight unseen with these, but has anyone been able to compare both?

 

The differences I have seen from my research are:

1. Price, Ai Navigator costs a few hundred more.
2. Dimensions, Ai Navigator is slightly smaller open and noticably smaller folded. 
3. Weight. Ai Navigator is appeoximately 1/2lb heavier. Weight distribution due to battery is lower (better centre of gravity?)
4. GPS, Ai Navigator has a large screen with built in GPS.
5. Remote, Ai Navigator has a smaller remote.

 

Besides these differences on paper, I'm hoping people are able to chime in on real world differences and whether the Ai is worth the extra money over the Zip AT.

Can’t compare the 2 models. We have the AT only. Costco just put it on sale for $1,299 including a bunch of extras. 
 

Considering every phone is now a gps, I couldn’t justify the more expensive model.
 

The lower center of gravity might make sense if you’re planning to use it on super hilly, rough terrain or severe off camber tracts.

I agree with @Nickb333 on this. I’ve had an AT for several years now and have no complaints. The GPS feature on the Ai doesn’t interest me as I use a ShotScope watch, so the only “upgrade” that would tempt me is the placement of the battery. But I don’t have a problem with the design of the AT and if I’m not a complete moron while using the cart I think it’s a very stable design. The gyro in the cart makes it pretty difficult to tip over unless you’re not paying attention and drive it into deeper holes (or into a river bed like I did.)

Found the specs on folded, which I am telling myself is a main factor for boot storage, but probably really isn't at the end of the day.

 

Ai Navigator:

Zip Navigator AT:

Are there any AI owners out there willing to chime in? Aside from the built in course GPS (which isn’t very interesting), is there any tangible reason to spend a few hundred extra on the AI model? Does the battery placement make a noticeable difference?

I have the Ai.  My friend has an AT.  I honestly don't think there's much of a difference.

Does anyone know if the seats are different?

 

Looks like you have to select AI or ZIP for the seat... but they look identical..

Don’t know if they are different, but I checked their recent sale and they had just one option available. It was for the Ai version. 
 

edit, just checked again. Only the quad seat is available.
