Ventus Black & Red Velocore+

Really looking forward to the Black+!

 

A smoother feeling black would be awesome, seems like the design will be same deal as Blue, just matte colors (red is almost burgundy).

As someone using tensei 1k orange in the driver and OG black in 3w & 5w I'd love if they did a counterbalanced 'black' style shaft just to try out

Pictures of the red and black on that JD clubs site is up. No new color for the black. And for that reason I'm out.

Ventus is so recognizable and there is the built in bonus of Velocore to distiguish them from OEM shafts, so I doubt the Ventus moniker will be going away anytime soon.  It's the new Speeder so we should see iterations of it for years.

Didn't say how it compares to OG black but I'd assume it fits in the middle of OG and TR

The 2024 versions are meant to replace the OG versions, not to fit between anything.

I'll give the black a try.  I hate how the silver graphics get scratched and peel all the time.  I had one that started getting bad within a week of when I bought it new and @Fujikura Golf said that it wasn't covered under warranty.  The silver graphics have little mesh under the paint and the one in my current driver is starting to fray.  It looks like the + models got rid of that like the TR did so if the numbers are comparably I'll probably just go with a +.

yes, their launch & spin profiles are consistent with the original ventus profiles.

They are much more similar to the OG ventus than the TR line

The whole TR lineup played slightly stiffer. + version takes a step back in stiffness

Guess I've got a Ventus Black + in my future.  Been using OG Black for the past 2 years so I guess it's time for an "update".  😁

I’ve had a different experience with TR Black 6x. Best driving season of my life coincided with this purchase and I have a pretty slow transition but then I handed my driver to a friend and he couldn’t get it to elevate and just hit a couple head high low hooks. Maybe it’s just all just a personal feel.

Got a Black on order. Was fit into the OG Black and its was my best driving years ever. Never had success with the OG blue but been playing the new Blue for a few weeks now. I really like what I'm seeing from launch and spin but it has a bit too much left in it. I'd say its great to be able to work the ball both ways. I just want to hit a consistent cut and I am hoping that is what I get. The Blue+ is definitely different than the OG Blue I remember. Its crisper and very stable.

Fingers crossed Fuji has enough on hand to fill the pre-order books, if they follow the Blue+ demand, these should go fast.

Are these still pre-orders like JDs?  Or are they now available?  Kind of a weird release.
