New shaft for persimmon

So I’ve got a persimmon made by Todd Demsey and the shaft has broken off inside the hosel😬. I have contacted him through his instagram, but have not received a response yet. I could not find a crack in the hose, so I’m hoping it is fixable.
 

The shaft that broke is a TT GS95 stiff. In my modern driver I have experimented with a super lightweight (45g) and super flexible (ladies) shaft with a lot of success. I’m finding the center of the club face often and hitting it straighter than I ever have. Would this be something to look into with the new persimmon shaft? I know Nicklaus talked about using the lightest and most flexible shaft that you could control. For reference, my swing speed with persimmon is around 107ish.

Wont happen this year, but its on my todo to try a lighter graphite on 2 wood or something.

I built a pair of persimmons recently and used mid-heavy graphite in them and they turned out quite nicely. 80X in driver, 90X in fairway, which is about 10g heavier than I play in metalwoods.

The biggest challenge for me was finding graphite shafts with a long enough tip section to be glued straight in - I chose new old stock Attas T2 shafts which have a 4 inch PTS. Even that was too short for me to able to tip the fairway shaft properly though.

@Maine Golfer @AdamMH, would you suggest the same exact weight and flex or should I try a little heavier and stiffer? Or, just go with a more flexible steel shaft?

Really this is going to be a matter of preference. I went up a weight class since I play my modern driver around 45" and my new persimmon driver is just shy of 44". I chose the same flex knowing that the deep shaft insertion would stiffen the tip a little bit, and shorter overall club also plays slightly stiffer, but that I was also going to leave the heads a little heavier than standard.
