I can’t believe he got Phil on his channel. This was great….interesting to see the 2nd best golfer in the last 30 years and how he plays each hole.

It's very hard to stay in shape at an athletic target body fat above a certain age without your face hollowing out. Getting old sucks, in this case collagen from your face.

The chatter and trash talk, coupled with the actual insight he gives, it's priceless. The "intel" he gives on the first hole of their match that Grant completely fell for, then the rest of the video all he did was talk if he can/cannot trust what Phil is saying is hilarious.  He went from like 12% in Grant's head to 1,000% within 2 shots. 

 

I wish he'd be able to do work in the booth, he's absolutely hilarious.

Grant played great on the back nine.  That match was fun.  But  Phil talks WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much.    Love the FF option of YT.

It was a great watch. I like listening to Phil about how he plays. It's a good combo of insight, tips, s*** talking, and gamesmanship.

Yeah, that’s not aging, that’s modern pharmaceuticals.  Phil was overweight his whole career and then, at 50 he magically drops 30 pounds and gets Ozempic face?  Color me skeptical.

 

And did you use words ‘in-shape’ and ‘athletic…body’ to describe Phil Mickelson?

I enjoy these videos for a couple of reasons.  It’s interesting to see how the pros work through their shots during a round.  I also like seeing their personality, giving it to those not playing tournament golf for a living.  I realize that a lot of these guys have left the tour, and maybe that is the entire reason they are on these YT golf channels, but it is refreshing compared to the robots on the PGAT. Even when Phil was on tour, at least he had a personality, sometimes it was extreme.  Tiger, Rory, Scottie and the rest is a snooze fest, great players, but boring.

What he did to Grant on the first hole sums up his personality perfectly, much like when he threw Tom Watson under the bus. I have the utmost respect for what he has achieved in golf, but I can't say I'm a fan, really.
