Watching "Live Practice Rounds at the Open" on R&A channel on Youtube....and Phil is wearing the joggers! Just interviewed coming off the practice area and they asked about his "style".  Phil gained some respect for showing up in joggers, haha!

Pat Perez learned the hard/expensive way more time with family isn’t always the ideal path.

So the billions that the makers of Wegovy and Ozempic are making off their weight loss pills isn’t coming primarily from middle aged folks?  [Per the FDA, the mean age of Ozempic users in their studies was 56 years.]

 

I agree you don’t need it, but very few people are fat their entire lives and then shed a large percentage of their body weight in six months when they’re 45-50 years old.  Possible, but unlikely, particularly these days with all the people turning to drugs.  ‘Ozempic Face’ is a dead giveaway.

People are obviously using those drugs but you generally don’t need to 

 

Not saying that it’s easy but it can be done 

 

Unfortunately, the weight loss industry has a long history of attracting people to the latest fads so hopefully users aren’t doing themselves any damage

I will concede that I could be wrong about the drugs.  There is a chance that he just accidentally backed into something sharp a few years back.

"Ozempic Face" happens to anyone that age who loses a lot of weight.  It's not due to the drug, it's due to the weight loss and inability for the facial skin to contract.  This has always been true, just now it is more common because doing it the old-fashioned way was hard and the success rate was much lower as compared to using pharmaceuticals.

 

It is still better than being overweight, the reduced quality of life and all the risk factors that come with it. Plus he's 50-something.  Anyone that age caught up in how they look or how other people look has a serious hangup.

Grant’s father is a teaching pro.  Best instructor I have ever had, by a long shot.  He moved with Grant to FL when his son was in jr high and wanted him to have a better golf climate than Central PA.
