It's clear you don't get it. One would think a bit of contrition would be appropriate given how you've handled things with multiple members of this community after getting paid for items you're attempting to sell. Sure, "life can get in the way" but that doesn't exempt you from properly communicating what might be going on to those from whom money has been taken- especially when you were active within the GolfWRX site for several days and on multiple occasions after suspending communication to the impacted members.

 

Just refund the money immediately. I'm not going to deal with an immature teen who has been repeatedly misleading and is now attempting to obfuscate the actual issue.

 

The full refund is $155 ($80 + $75) for the two payments I made to you, not $80. If I don't have the full refund over the next several minutes I will report to PayPal and the next communication you- or your daddy (assuming any of that is true)- have regarding the items I paid for will be with them.

 

I will keep the community posted as to what occurs.

PayPal is reporting the refunds have been made although "estimated arrival" of the funds is 8/1/24.

 

I will provide an update when my money is actually back in my account.

 

I will also provide appropriate feedback for the seller so the broader community could be protected against such juvenile and misleading behavior that is coupled with a lack of concern for other GolfWRXers. As it was suggested by another, others similarly impacted by this individual should do the same.

Dont have control over how long it takes sorry. I just clicked refund. I checked my bank and it hanst taken the money from my bank yet but paypal will do it soon im sure. Its on pending rn

Absolutely ban this user from BST if not the entire forum. That kind of attitude and mentality only harm the reputation of BST and will discourage users from trusting sellers.

Yes, life has gotten in the way before.  It happens.  We are all mostly adults with families, children, full-time jobs, etc.  Theoretically, you should have more “you” time than any other period in your life.  You should probably plan your time better or reorder priorities if that is not the case.  If there are genuine issues/problems, that is another matter as well.  Your tone is off-putting.  Respect your elders.

I think this is likely what would have happened had the kid not taken such a disrespectful tone. And I don’t think it was quite torches and pitchforks either. But to each his own.

after reading this I’ve lost confidence that they monitor and support this forum.  I’ve seen people get warned and put in timeout for far far less, with almost immediate intervention from mods.  I haven purchased anything on golf wrx yet, and certainly won’t take the plunge based on what you shared.

You two don't have the first clue how much of our time gets spent dealing with BST problems.  But we haven't and won't hold public crucifixions - never have.  And, we try to give Members time to work out their problems and give people a chance to make things right - a banned Member won't be able to use the PM system or post in Deal No Deal threads.

 

All that said - the BST is a caveat emptor marketplace.  Lots of really good deals happen, and sometimes a bad deal happens.  It's a risk that everyone of us takes when we enter into a used golf equipment transaction with a stranger halfway across the country.  If you can't handle that relatively low risk, I suggest you stick with your local pro shop and major golf retailers.
