No love for the Rogue ST line?

Max LS is still in my bag.  I was late to the game on this driver but it transformed my driving accuracy this spring.

Picked up an ST Max head last year, got fit into a motore x F1 this year for it and have been hitting the longest and straightest drives I've ever hit in my life. 

 

George Bryan still plays the ST Max head for what it's worth. It's a great driver but everyone always falls for the latest and greatest. Marketing 101

I bought one and was hitting absolutely everything off the toe resulting in some sweet 180 yard wipey fades.  Returned it and went back to the old trusty 2019 Cleveland Launcher HB Turbo and am hitting everything squarely in the middle of the face again.

I'm curious how a driver head makes you hit it off the toe or center of the face?

Were the specs, ie shaft length etc the same?

The Rogue ST was the Max D version if that would make a difference.  Cleveland driver has the standard stiff Miyazaki shaft while the Callaway had a HZRDUS Smoke IM10.  They were the same length as far as I remember.

lol I’m all for blaming my equipment for stuff but don’t get how the driver head would be the source of that.  least you found something that works for you.

Had the Max D but wasn’t a fan of the closed face. Sold it to a friend who has a terrible slice . He went more to a fade and loves it. I went to the Paradym but still go back to my Epic Flash time to time.

I have the Max LS and while I think it's one of the best looking drivers Callaway has put out in a while, it just doesn't come off the face or feel as good as the old SIM2. I switched back to the SIM2 and have the Max LS on the bench for now.
