2025 ProV1s

It's been 2 years so a new ball is on the way. What will change; anything ? The "ball that made it all" has spawned a whole industry of solid core rockets. What's next, anyone have intel, or, maybe, a white test box ?

I believe those were the limited release “right dash” pro v’s ….😂

Try the Prime 3.0 ball with some epsom salt.  You'll be able to tee up the heavy side on the right and keep those balls off the path.

I’m a team Titleist member like many of you, I suspect. Do you have to do anything to be selected to try the new balls or do they randomly just pick a few members to test? I’ve always wanted to do that.

I am a TT member. I have been picked to test the new balls twice but not in subsequent releases. It seems to be random.

 

In the two times I have been selected, once I was contacted ahead of time and asked if I would like to participate. The next time, I just got two sleeves in the mail and asked to provide feedback to them after testing.

New ProV 1 will come out early 25, likely along with GT 1, GT Hybrids....

 

The new ball will be longer off the tee, have better green-side spin and feel, and have a new core color. Rinse, wash, repeat, and it will be very consistent with previous years. I wish I was good enough to differentiate between the 2017, 19, and 21 balls.

I heard from my local titleist rep that this model will have a completely new redesigned box...he pretty much guaranteed it

Ok, got that. Not new, 2023 with new lines. You can get a stencil and a sharpie and mark to your heart's delight

I just hope they keep making balls with the precision alignment. I know I can easily draw it on with a sharpie but it always smears/fades as soon as you hit a clippy wedge shot or have played multiple holes with the same ball.

All I can share (which really isn’t much) is that the new balls will be out in February of 2025 for the Prov1 and Prov1X lineup. The prototypes have been impressive, but Achusnet is in a tough position with the upcoming Rollback and how that will affect their R&D so although they’ve been planning for a rollback for years before it was officially announced (been prepared for it before every other brand and thus have had a head start on R&D for it) they still have to make the adjustment and this will likely be their last Prov1/ProvX ball before the rollback is implemented. 
 

I am not sure if the Prov1 lineup will go untouched after the rollback and they develop a new model entirely for it (likely the case) or if it will become the ball that is “rolled back” and at this time that’s all I can share.
