Yeah, I read it - surprised there aren't any reviews yet.  I thought they'd seed it a bit to build the hype.  Maybe they're still tiptoeing due to lawsuits or something?

Compared to the hype & hoopla from the Alpha One, this is a pretty weak roll out. Fujikura must've b!tch-slapped them pretty good. 😂

The Alpha One was basically Fujikura next shaft to be released since the founder of Aretera was at Fuji as one of the main guys.

Doesn't matter what happened. It doesn't affect your shaft so why fret over it? If it doesn't fit you, sell it on ebay. You might actually get your money back since it had quite good reviews and now it's not available?

I fit into it at club champion in my fairway woods and am going to try it in my driver as well. First time gaming this shaft tomorrow

The below is about the Alpha one

 

My fairway wood swing was no good during my round, I would have topped those shots regardless of shaft. Will hit them again tomorrow.

 

In driver, it worked well. Seemed to have a bit better dispersion with it vs my Ventus Red TR.

I got my alpha one gray out for the first time this week. Didn’t feel like I was getting a lot out of it with the course being wet but I looked at arccos after the round I was a good 10 yards further on average than I would have thought. I went straight from my car to the first tee, put a mediocre swing on it and ended up 275 in the fairway. I’d take that all day. Once I loosened up I didn’t have one less than 285 if I made a reasonably good swing on it. I’m coming off of a bunch of black profiles and have been wishing for more feel with similar spin and I think there’s something here. Don’t know when I’ll get it out again but I’m looking forward to it.

I just found a pair of alpha one blue shafts. Driver 65 stiff, 75 stiff tipped 1" for the 3wood. 

I put them in the new Titleist GT 2 heads for testing. 9* driver and 15* fairway

45" driver with plus 2 weight, d3.5 swing weight

113 cs, 163 bs, 14.1 launch, 2325 spin 

 

43" fairway wood, stock weight, d3 swing weight

106 cs, 153 bs, 16.4 launch, 3359 spin

using pro v1x i could not get the fairway wood spin under 3k off a tee, I put my og ventus blue 7s tipped 1/2" and immediate cut the spin to 2700-2800 spin off a tee.

You still asking about it??? There's few threads out there with details. Basically guy left Fujikura and took some shaft designs with him that he shouldn't. What more do you need?

Some great numbers there!

 

i have a chance to pick up an alpha one grey but im hitting my tpt nitro 16 lo so good that i dont wanna create any confusion in driver. 

I've been looking to find a 75g version for mini driver but having trouble finding one for a reasonable price

If it's burning your mind so much just reach out to Aretera with a sales request... If they say no you'll have your answer.  

 

But seriously you already have one just go hit it.  The legal dealings shouldn't be the deciding factor in whether you keep it.

1. No one actually knows - we have a few legal documents with broad allegations which appear to have been confidentially resolved.
