Selling my set of Edel SMS Forged irons shafted with DG 120 X100, which was in my weekend bag of clubs. My main set is the SMS Pro Forged with Steelfiber graphite shafts. I prefer the SMS Pro for their smaller head and the lighter graphite shafts. This set is in great condition, having seen limited use in bag #2. The Edel SMS is a hollow iron with a forged body, filled with a urethane foam, and with "mid-modern" lofts having a 32* 7i.

This set is an MOI build in 1/4” increments.
An MOI build is such that the swing-weight gets a bit less as each club gets longer. An MOI build results in a set such that each club requires the same amount of effort to swing. Whereas a typical all-D2 swing-weight build requires more effort to swing a 5i than your 9i. The Edels with their 3 weight ports makes it super-easy to alter swing weight to your satisfaction.

These SMS have been shafted with DG 120 X100 shafts that have been hard stepped once. That means the 6i shaft is in the 5i head, the 7i shaft in the 6i head ,etc. Also included is the original 5i shaft. Being hard stepped, if MOI is not your thing, the heads can be rebuilt to fully stock lengths by putting the 5i shaft in the 5i head, 6i shaft in the 6i head, etc, -> just some butt trimming may be required. Or leave the lengths as-is in their 1/4” increments and change the weight ports to get them all back to D2 or D3, whatever you prefer. Also, the shaft set used in this set was already long ( the 5i shaft plays to 38.75" ) so could be sold off for use as a stock length set, with typical butt-trimming during assembly. Golfpride CP2 Wrap mid-size grips are included and put on via an air compressor, so easily removed if you want something else. Ferrules are coloured anodized aluminum from BigFootGolf. For reference, the 7i with a Tour Velvet Standard grip has a swing weight of D3

A stock set of Edel SMS has 2-8-2 gram weights in the back of each head.
For this MOI build, which is on the heavier side, the weight ports are currently populated as follows below.

5i - 2-8-2 37.5” ungripped ( also has a 10g brass tip weight installed )
6i - 6-8-6 37.25”
7i - 6-8-4 37.0”
8i - 4-8-4 36.75”
9i - 6-8-4 36.5”
P - 6-8-4 36.25”

Also included are 10 more 2g weights ( and tool ) so you have all the weights for a stock set. Extra weights in 2,4,6,8,10g are readily available from Edel.

I can adjust lofts or lie angles to whatever you prefer as I have a full golf-shop at home, so easy for me to do.
