What are these Golfshot swing ID stats telling me?

I decided to try Golfshot’s Swing ID program with my Apple Watch 9. I just grabbed my 7 iron, no warm up, and hit 21 balls into my net. Would love any insight into what I should takeaway from the stats.

Clicking on the blue circle i icons will explain each measurement.

The only ones I pay much attention to are tempo, rhythm, and hand speed. The info says hand speed is measured at impact - wish it was peak hand speed, which should happen around P5.5.

Your wrist rotation is opposite mine - I’m in the 20° closed range. I play with a strong grip, set up with hands forward a bit, and try to deloft through impact without much toe rolling over. Curious what your grip and release style is to be so far off mine.

I also see the steepening in transition you see, even though I know I shallow a bit and hit baby draws, so I don’t pay much attention to that one.

@GungHoGolf here’s my grip. Although, I’m holding a swing trainer with a small grip and I use midsize on my clubs.

I worked on my wrist rotation with the app a little bit tonight. My best measurements were 2° closed to 6° open. I’m pretty sure I’m not getting a proper pressure shift and losing posture through the downswing. When I focused on staying imposture, the measurement was 6° open. But then I had to abruptly stop.

Experimented with the app a little bit more tonight. I worked on not pulling my arms down in transition and added @MonteScheinblum‘s cast B, which put my wrist rotation rate in the green.

Finally got to the range and here is a pic of the Golfshot stats of one of my good drives. The ball flew straight and high but all of my Swing ID positions were not in range - just like all of my well hit drives. Not sure I find this tool useful after all.

I did notice when I started the Golfshot app to record my swing movements, my driver striking got worse. Kinda like going from the range to the course where the ball striking matters. Still fighting head games, I guess.

I have been using the app for over a year. It seems to be improving Re: swing detection technology.
I have wondered what’s up with hand speed, as seems discrepant. Most I’ve got is about 14-15 mph with the app. However, I had a video lesson yesterday, and launch monitor-verified 7-iron clubhead speed is 90 mph. This matches my on-the-course experiences, as I carry the 7-iron about 180 (when smash factor is reasonable haha).

I really like this app, but I wish there was more information about how these metrics are calculated.

As I said, I had a lesson yesterday. I was coming over the top pretty bad on video. I fixed that, and then went to the range and hit up practice mode. I hit amazing draws with gap wedge and 7-iron - unfortunately, I didn’t realize you have to pay extra to access the swings. So I’m not sure whether there will be any different.

Lots of potential though. The on the course tracking is great overall.
