Do the nee hyperflex stretch out a little after you wear them? Finally got to try these on and I am between sizes. Not dure if I can get away with going a little snug and them stretching out a little. Hard to tell with the material

they seem a half size tighter fit AND less stretch in them than previously. The outer layer has a tougher coating. Mine have stretched out a tiny tiny bit I think but that’s about it. I’d be a US10 in most shoes, have always gotten US9.5 in hyperflex and they still fit big. In new ones I would probably buy a 10 if I was doing it again, I’ve not ordered the new fabric quantum’s because of the sizing issue with the hyperflex.

Thanks. The material felt pretty stiff and I was afraid they wouldn't stretch out much.

Yikes, I had to use a cobblers shoe stretching device on the last gen hyperflex. My foot slid around in wide sizing, but got crushed by regulars.

I second that. FJ's are known to run on the bigger side but the new hyperflexes fit true to size, at least in US sizing. I wear 8.5 in 90% of athletic shoes and 8.5 in the new carbons fits perfectly, I wouldn't want them to be any more snug than they are.

I agree. The one thing that I do like about them that I haven't seen in any other Premiere is the white outsole.

FINALLY found the Hyperflex Carbon in all black in my size (13 wide). Amazon out of all places. Had some gift card cash stored so that helped ease the wallet.

I feel like they've done pretty well for so long they were bound to have one that missed the mark in my opinion.  It always resonates with me when there is a subtle nod to the area/host golf course instead of just the tournament like this one.  Here is to hoping the Open has a cool story.  I however do miss the Todd Snyder and Metalwood collabs.  Thought they had some cool looks but glad they are at least doing something with the Legends collection.

Was hoping for something related to steel manufacturing for Pittsburgh or heck even the Steelers/Pirates reference, just something other than slapping some red/blue on a Packard model that feels like I could just design in MyJoys

I loved all the previous hyperflex carbon releases so truly disappointed with this years release.

I couldn't agree more. I have multiple pairs of carbon/regular BOA from last year and love them. This year price went up and boring colors imo I picked up a pair of last year's carbon BOA from Carl's I believe for $99 and would probably buy any other colors at that same price over the new ones at $250 (for carbon boa) crazy to me that they keep raising the price and without good colors or anything unique

Definitely hoping that they go down the Harris Tweed route again. Not sure they have missed with any of those releases. My memory from the last few years is that they seem to drop them at the Scottish Open and get a couple of weeks exposure from them. Hoping we have the same this time around.

They are doing the Legends Series for the majors.  Most likely not seeing a Harris Tweed collab for the Open since they won't do 2 limited releases simultaneously.   They scrapped the Todd Snyder/PGA & Metalwood as well.  We've only seen the Buscemi and the new ALD collab.  Frankly, these sell but they have not been difficult to obtain.  Not sure that is the "buzz" they were hoping for.

Since you're in the area as well.....Haggin Oaks has them on shelves. I was shocked to see them out before any announcement.
