Swapped out the pink laces with the white ones they provided and its a super clean look IMO

I too have been anticipating this release.  Their collaborations are my favorite of their collabs.

When I say doubtful it’s based on seeing zero marketing for the potential of the collaboration. No hints from Golf fashion guy, golf headz or any other influencer tells me it’s probably a no

FJ rain gear is average and definitely not worth that much.

For the money, ProQuip is as good as there is. They have a LIFETIME waterproof warranty and stand behind it. It’s what all the caddies in Scotland and Ireland wear. They also offer free shipping to the USA on orders over $200

Probably should start with asking what are your needs.   If you're living in Ireland or the UK and frequently in the elements the really good stuff is well worth it.

 

OTOH if you're playing at your club in scottsdale and are likely to cancel the tee time if rain's in the forecast, $1K for rain gear may not be cost effective.

 

Outside of those extremes, if you're going on a trip the British Isles, then it's a value judgement around how much to pay to be how dry.

That’s the beauty of Proquip. It’s as good or better than anything else out there, has a lifetime waterproof warranty, and is still reasonably priced.

Only one or two proquip jackets have lifetime warranties and they don’t stand over them, most Irish stores stopped  selling their lifetime warranty versions because of that. The rest are just 3 year warranty which is pretty good. They are ok but aren’t that popular in Ireland. Galvin green gore tex is far more popular (and most expensive) Followed by ping/footjoy/sunderland etc. 
 

personally hydroflex from footjoy is what I wear. Despite reports we don’t get ‘that’ much rain when you could still play golf in the weather.

Interesting to hear that. I have the PX7 Stormforce that is great! Ive even recommended them to others that are very pleased with them. I’ve had FJ in the past, but switched after I got soaked at Tralee. I do come to Ireland every year and see lots of them in the courses I’ve played, but maybe they are only popular at those places.

It's stated on their website that they are not currently shipping orders to the United States due to tariffs in case anyone was thinking of ordering.

honestly i am disappointed in the color schemes of the 2025 offering so I will not be purchasing this year's version. All white that will get dirty in 3 rounds and then the off colored blue that is deemed "limited edition". 

 

I loved all the previous hyperflex carbon releases so truly disappointed with this years release.
