Glad you enjoyed it!  I wouldn't want to play Auburn in a 4 out of 7 series but in a one game scenario they can be had and luckily enough Duke played quite well.  Still analyzing the pieces and how they all mesh but Duke will be an entertaining watch the rest of the season.  (and UNC got whipped earlier in the night which is always good to see)

ngl... I love that the Packers have a "special" place in your heart... I suppose losing to them 11 straight times will do that tho.    Admittedly, I'm not as much as a NFL fan as I used to be.   I sort of tuned out after the Packers won SB XLV.   I mean as a Packer fan, how could you top beating the Bears at their place for the NFC championship, then going on to win the SB in the home of the Cowboys!   Doesn't get any better than that!

 

I'm good if the Lions win it all.. until recent times they have been so bad for so long...  I think its time.

*that said, the 9ers are a mess and the snow definitely wasn’t the reason they lost to the Bills. Bears def have a better than good chance this weekend

... Who doesn't love a good rivalry? When Favre was the QB I had a on of respect for the Packers. But once Rodgers took over, the arrogance from him and the fans was nauseating. If he had just an ounce of class beating the Bears over and over again he could have been as loved as Favre who had a ton of resect for the Bears and their fans. I think Love can turn things around if he shows a little class/respect and we can get back to a good ole rivalry.

As consistently as I have been suckie this year I'm pretty numb to big reactions at this point in the season @CasualLie. 😁  Being a born and raised Detroit kid I have pulled for the Lions for many years.  I had no business going against them tonight in Prime Time. 

I had to though, I am not going to make a late charge north in the Standings taking Picks that the masses like.

lol.. interesting take.   Pro athletes being arrogant?  That never happens....I mean its not like they went out and produced something like the super bowl shuffle, right?       Fans being arrogant, eh... I dunno about that.  Seems you are painting broad strokes there sir.    As far as class goes, I'm not sure if you know this but when Rodgers yelled "I still own you", he was responding to some Bear fans flipping him off, so let's not be too quick to bestow too much class on one side or the other. 

 

As I said before, I'm just not into it as much anymore... It really was that last Super Bowl win that did it.... Packers beat the Brett Favre lead Vikings twice, the aforementioned beating the Bears for the NFC crown (Halas trophy..lol), and the win at Jerry's world...     There just isn't much more to root for after that... I'm not greedy. 

 

Heck, I picked the Lions to win because they are the better team... not only did the Packers indeed lose, I still lost here because the Lions didn't cover!   Its a lose/lose but meh... that's the way it goes sometimes.

Liked your take. Lots of us in the group are squeezing for different NFC North teams. It's a thing in these parts. Heck I pull for the Lions, Vikings, and Packers. The Bears not so much.
