I’ll have to check that out. We were at that game. 3 deep red zone turnovers doomed the Mean Green. It was a 7-3 game in the 4th quarter, but Army is clearly a better team. UNT was punching above their weight class.

I’m one of those. Not a Bears fan, but definitely a Walter fan. Pure classless move by Ditka. All Payton gave to that franchise and not give him that. Pisses me off again thinking about it.

To clarify, it's the current Bad Beats which featured November games.  1st broadcast in December.  Always an entertaining watch!

Bears Report:

... Everyone from fans to the media to the players sure are upbeat about the Bears with Thomas Brown now the interim Head Coach. But I think Kevin Byard summed it up best. Yea, everyone is excited, practices are better, Thomas holds everyone accountable and attention to detail is once again very important. But all that means little if the players can't go to SF and beat the 49ers. Coach Brown is all about physicality and being more violent than your opponent but you still have to make plays and it's on the players to do that. We shall see Sunday. 

... Some of the players are actually talking about winning 5 in a row. While unlikely, it is great to hear these guys have some confidence in their coaches and team mates for a change. And most important for us life long Bears fans. We have a QB.

Each year Mr A buys some sports trading cards from some random year in the past and encloses a packet of cards in the envelope with his Christmas Card. Over the years he has given packets from different Pro sports. This year it's the NFL and Wahoo that's my favorite Pro sport. 

 

Since this is a NFL thread I thought I would have a little fun this year with my cards. I ask you guys to guess which trading cards I received when I open the package on Sunday Morning. Two guesses per man. These are cards from 1991 and there are 12 cards in the pack.

I thought the Christmas Card was lovely. I especially enjoyed the artwork and the use of red and green colors. The card also had silver sparkles attached to it.
