They are smart. Aaron told me when he texted his picks to me today....it's week 18 LP, expect some last minute changes. 

 

We all agree there's nothing normal about the final weekend in the NFL. It's crazy times and the outcomes will for sure make for solid conversation.

Nobody had Minny or Wash. 

 

Many have Mia and/or Cincy but no one has Denver so the AFC picture is very interesting.

 

Everyone (except ironically hometown boy Triple L) chose Dallas.

 

Worst pick:  3 people had Jax.

 

Best picks:  Only 1 had LA Chargers (humble brag 😉) and only Tatertot had Pitts.

That is Buffalo which is upstate NY. That Captain Obvious directional moment is brought to you by moi. Went to upstate NY, pretty close to Canandian border, a few times in my youth. Lots of windy pitch black roads. Actually alot of N.E. is like that. And black bears. Drive a couple hours to see a movie, Stop in a half horse town at 10am, go to bar and order cocktails whilst watching cartoons. Stuff like that.

I do agree that UPSTATE NY (the true upstate north of I90), meaning the Adirondacks, the Champlain Valley and the St. Lawrence Valley is much like the northern areas of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.  Rural with a heavy dose of French-Canadian ancestry!!

... Picking before the start of the season is based on conjecture, potential and most of all sheer luck. Obviously injuries play a huge roll but momentum either way is always a factor. 

The Bears started out 4-2 ... coach fired
Jets had Rodgers and a killer defense ... coach fired
Saints outside chance ... coach fired
Bengals with Burrow and Chase were no brainers to maybe make the SB
Dolphins are a head case quite literally and few saw them self destructing

Very few sure things like the Eagles, Lions, Chiefs, Bills and Ravens. 

How the QB plays is monumental as 7 of the top 8 QB's are in the playoffs and only Mayfield at #5 not in. On the other end with 5 wins or less all have QB's in the bottom half.
