This is really good advice - nice to have a pro managing the BISC. Personally try to use #1, though I sometimes get pedantic about my workhorse, and use it on days when it should really be out to pasture.

This has been a bad year for me. Had put together an all-new bag last fall/offseason (all 14 clubs), yet as of today, the entire bag has changed, and in some cases some clubs have changed multiple times.

So with almost every company releasing a new mini driver, somehow I ended up coming home with another 10 year old mini to battle my SLDR mini, a Callaway Bertha 1.5 Mini 14*. To make it better, this is my 2nd attempt with the Bertha Mini. I had the lower lofted version 5-6 years ago and it didn't stick, so this decision sets up to be a perfect downfall story for me next year. But it was only $80 and in perfect condition, so what was I supposed to do?

Current situation in Haiku:

New old club in hand

History doesn't bode well

But it's 80 bucks

I predicted new wedges and passed.

I also predicted nothing would replace my Mizuno '23 forged irons.

The Titleist T350s arrived yesterday.

I guess there are worse things than being bad at predicting.

Heh, so far out, I'm almost backing in. I've played at least 12 sets this year of various vintages and the moderns have been swapping between the 923 Forgeds and a set of Cobra RF copper irons. 5 different putters, three vintage and two modern. But! I'm having fun with all of it.

This thread really is the antithesis of Golfwrx. I’m surprised the OEM sponsors don’t try to shut it down.

It really is more of an AA-type thread, IMHO.

There's those of us who really want to quit ho'ing, and feel if we hang out with people who don't ho', we'll stop.

There's those of us who know we should stop ho'ing, but inside really don't want to quit, as we haven't hit "rock bottom". Although shipping clubs to the office and hiding the credit card bill could be a "high bottom", still haven't read if anyone has sold a kidney or a been evicted so they could afford the latest driver with exotic shaft.

And there's those of us who enjoy the schadenfreude of watching our fellow ho's fail miserably, and who gladly watch this behaviour as it allows us to justify our own ho'ing.

In a way, I think the OEMs like this thread, as each person who falls off the wagon may take another one with them.
