Def an option but now i have the claim to deal with an I obviously originally wanted to try the wedges and ordered the extensions to rectify as mentioned. You offered a return way later only at my cost making the whole process a headache and waste of time. I may just sell to Fourpar or offer to my mens club group locally and not deal with shipping at my expense. Or keep and lengthen etc. Again all hassles... Need to think on it and deal with it when back home. No one is going to waste their time making up a story to get a product and return an deal with claims, that isnt even a plausible story what would be the benefit?

There’s one accurate way to measure any club length and that could be reasonably +/- 1/8” from one another. I’ve seen a few .25” scenarios but that’s rare from factory standard, Ping being the greatest from the median on occasion in my experience depending on the grip used. A tape measure surely isn’t going to give you accurate numbers from the floor, even your own measurements disprove your order specs with the tape measure.

My cleveland is 35 7/16 stock ordered +1/2" and shows 36" on my tape so its pretty much showing the +1/2" build.

 

On the pings using my tape you can see they show the length equating to ping stock specs using the same method.

What do you mean by “now” you have the claim to deal with it. You filed it last night and then started the day with giving me negative feedback. You demanded a $30 refund so you’d only end up paying $120 for 2 custom S159 wedges? So I’d be netting less than $110…I think you’d take the same position in my shoes.

Buyer: Take the wedges to any local GG, PGASS, etc and put them next to off the rack S159s and take a picture. That will tell the entire story.

@russian7 you have an option for to get your money back and get essentially a full refund.  Hassle free since the new buyer is paying for shipping and is aware of there length.

Why still continue with a PayPal claim or offer them locally for a discount?

 

if you really want the wedges at this point, even if you have to add extensions that’s 100% on you and seller shouldn’t cover any remediation you want to get to whatever length.

Doesn't matter it shows what Im saying I measure lots of clubs like that referencing factory built clubs and it works so as long as you measure consistent and have a valid reference theres no reason you cant. 

 

Does this builder with a large YT following say you can do it that way?? Yes he does period.

Maybe he just forgot you needed +3/8 or better yet maybe you forgot to tell him 😉 then when you got them and it didnt feel right to you, you then decided to sell them instead of paying more to lengthen? Who knows? Anything is possible from what Ive seen here. Your story makes me wonder...

@russian7 you were offered two options to solve this issue and at least one of them makes you whole (he offered to pay for the shipping on top of what you paid), yet you are hesitant, that is really suspect.  To me this is what I have seen all along, you simply wanted to get these wedges cheaper than you paid, you got called on it (accurately IMHO) by the well established seller, you already have a negative feedback on the so called reputation you tried leaning into while making your argument, posted previous to this issue. So the rest of this thread was you trying to salvage your reputation, but you dug the hole deeper.  Take the solution, and hopefully anyone planning on doing business with you here does their due diligence and see this issue. 

 

To the WRXers out there do you due diligence, scroll through a persons feedback closely before you do business with them.

Dont think so sir, the deal was fair, it's the principle. Like I said I will handle it how I see best. I dont need another discount period that was simply a solution to me buying extensions which I did and frips/labor, but nice try Im not hard up for money.

At this point  I think you should be banned. You were offered solutions, one of which includes you returning the merchandise for a refund which is what paypal will do. Yet you will not do that. So are you trying to keep the wedges and get your money back??? If so you should be banned from the site.

I will work with paypal im not paying shipping back to him for his mistake, period. Oh are you the wrx police that you get to tell me when and how I decide on a solution for a negative experience that happened to me as a buyer? Yeah dont think so! If i return them i want shipping paid if thats not an option i already ordered components and paid to rectify issue, another cost or return to deal with. Or I sell them to the other guy, either way I go Im speaking with Paypal and being advised of options before I proceed. All of which have nothing to do with you or anyone else on here.

Really not clear from these pics but it doesn’t look like either club is soled. One is more toe down than the other which will lead to even worse measurement. Get yourself a meter stick, dowel, 2x4, really anything other than a tape. 
 

Can’t say definitively, but I think you’re wrong in saying these are measuring standard.

I think people who try to get discounts by using paypal or feeback blackmail truly undercut the trust on this site. You sir are a very good candidate for being guilty of such. Lay the club down on a table or ground and run the tape measure the  full length of the bottom/underside of the club shaft please. These pictures you are providing are not doing you any favors.

No one is trying to get any discounts especially that way period. If a member had a history of using PP documented then sure you have a valid claim. I have a clean sheet since the beginning of time with my accounts so Im not worried, nor am I worried what you think.
