The clubs with the black shafts are longer.  You can see the butt caps extend further, once of them extended further than the red additional cap added to stock wedge.

did you put them on the club builders ruler and take a picture at the shop?  That would have been the best way.

you should be looking for a clubs that measure

35 and 3/8 (stock ping 58+3/8)

and

35 and 7/8 (stock ping 52+3/8)

the comparisons photos like that just aren’t very accurate when you are quibbling over 1/4 to 1/8 of an inch.

The pros there handed the clubs and set them down and told me they were exactly stock lengths they are the experts it's very easy to see, I had to go way out of my way to get to somewhere just to prove what I expected to be true is. I'm not doing anything further on this as I have gone way above and beyond with all of these people just hopping in to talk a lot of nonsense having no clue, so now I can officially be over it and move on.

The pics you posted showed the black shafted clubs to be longer than ping stock clubs.

Nobody knows how much cause you set them on the ground and took a picture instead of measuring…….

I believe Ping measures to the end of the actual golf shaft, so the different size grip caps are negligible here

I understand what you are saying and don’t disagree.

The way I looks at this is the seller promised

58 degree wedge that measures 35 3/8

and

52 degree wedge that measures 35 7/8.

we seen a ton of pictures of lots of different things, but nothing the invalidates the measurements.

For the life of me, I don't understand how someone could be so vindictive when they have every opportunity to "out the seller" by measuring the clubs the correct way and corroborate their story. This flys against the face of reason to incomprehension.

This is why rotten in Denmark comes to mind for most of us.

They were advertised as "3/8" long", meaning 3/8" longer than Ping's standard length for this wedge model. Based on the recent comparison photos they are 0" longer than Ping standard

The numbers I posted are 3/8 inch longer than ping standard……

also if you look at the pic the hosel on the stock wedge is clearly higher than the bar wedge.   This is a clear reason why a picture like this won’t accurately reflect the length of two clubs.

I sat my 8 and 9 irons down side by side like in this photo just now (they have identical hosel lengths) and they are the same height.  One doesn’t look higher or lower than the other

Might be the angle but it looks like they’re not even aligned the same, slide the custom one back and the handle should be even higher in comparison.

Agree 100%. Once you slide the one with the black head back as you indicate, they should be exactly the same length. As pictured, the one with the silver shaft is actually slightly longer according to how Ping measures

Sliding it as he indicates will make the black shafted wedge, which is already longer, even longer…

Now you just arbitrarily drawing lines.  End of grip is what matters.

With all due respect, that's not a generally accepted way to measure. It may be your preferred way to measure, but Ping does not do that

Preferred by who?  World class building and fitting organization measure and build to what’s called EOG (end of grip) all the time.  I can think of a couple I can refer you to if you don’t believe me.

At the end of the day those clubs will measure atleast .25 longer than the stock ping wedge when you put them on a Mitchell or USGA ruler.  Nobody is cutting off grips to measure a club for playing lengthS

SO NOW WHAT?? To the 100 people piling in on me here saying I must be incompetent and I must be wrong and a bad guy and blah blah...

I finally had time in my day to go to our local fitter that is the largest fitting centers in my area to speak to one of the pros and get a couple of stock wedges to match these two so we can compare side by side...

hmm low and behold set down side by side they measure exactly STOCK length.

PROOF of my claim as I said!

Unfortunately with kids in sports and traveling all weekend I didn't have the time in my day to immediately get to a retail store so despite everyone's opinions on the measuring this and that like everyone else stated the easiest way was to drop by grab some stock ones off the shelf and prove exactly what I said they arent +3/8"

These photos do you no justice to help with your argument. You essentially wasted your own time. You have no proof of any measurements. And we are suppose to go off of your words? My guy, it is not that hard to ask the pro shop and take pictures of the measurements. You are making this way more difficult then it should.

There are different ways to define length, we all know that different companies do it differently, just like there is no true "standard length" or "stiff flex". In this case a Ping club was advertised and sold so the stated +/- length should be in relation to Ping clubs of the same model

*I agree with the above that actual measurements are needed (to end of shaft) and not just comparison pictures

And it would be, if we ever saw them on a USGA or Mitchell ruler.

I can’t believe we’ve gotten to Page 6 over 3/8 of an inch on used wedges. And there’s no end in sight.

Lol, at first I thought the buyer had issues with possible swing weight issues.  But nope he is just fighting for every inch.

I just want the buyer to actually get and show measurements. I really don't think its that hard to get and show.

It also looks like they arent lined up right either, if you look at the groove frame (toeside) on each, the sellers is closer to the camera which would make it seems shorter than it is compared to the other. Some real funny business goin on here. Sorry to the seller for dealing with this. Ive seen all Ive needed to see. Good luck to each.

Exactly that's all I'm saying but all of these guys can't let it go because they were bashing me for so long despite me making additional purchases coming out of pocket traveling to places to get a picture and doing all this stuff they still want to continue to pile in on me despite the facts when I'm not in the wrong and I was the buyer so again I have no problem removing my case but the seller has done nothing but talk bad about about me and offer nothing in a solution except for publicly to appear he is a good guy so I think in most situations people are going to be a little frustrated and not as willing to cooperate after they have proved themselves right time and time again and everyone refusing to accept it. Like I said from the beginning I have had thousands of positive transactions across various platforms and I am well known in the community here for my business dealings with golf items so I was never once concerned about my reputation other than a bunch of guys on here who are quick to judge without any information and just wanted to chime in just to put the blame on someone with no validation or proof and even when I offer proof they are now unwilling to admit to their mistakes and judgment and continue to act like this is my fault as a buyer.

I am confused! Buyer goes to a store and takes pictures with stock wedges. Claims both sets are the same length. It appears to me by his own pictures the black shaft wedges are longer.

Question I have to ask????  All he had to do was take pictures of all clubs being measured to prove one way or the other the length and end this thread. Why wasn't this done?
