New PXG "Tour Inspired" irons when?

Please let me know if there's already a thread, but does anyone have any info on the new gen of PXG "Tour Inspired" irons? Comparable to the 0317 ST, CB, and T. I'm on the hunt hard right now for something a little different and more forgiving to test, and feel like the T may just do it for me. Small enough in size, lower offset, weaker lofts, etc, but crazy forgiving from being a little hollow, yet still workable.

 

Noticed that the ST were released in Sep '22, and CB were released in April '23 with the T coming in Sep '23. Figured that puts us right on par with maybe a new two year release cycle starting here in a few months. If that's the case, I can put the wallet on ice and wait it out. Thanks guys!

I'm currently gaming the CB.  I went through the fitting and was between the ST and CB.  I just felt the feel and constancy of the CB was slightly better.  This is my second set of PXG irons.  My first was the Gen2 P's.  For some reason I did not get along with the T's.  The 0317 line is not a distance or player's distance iron.  The smaller head profile and distances are more traditional.  Like anything else it would be best to hit first.

Oh, for sure. Definitely not looking at players distance as i’m pretty quick and currently in the P7CB 4-P, but something very similar to these that will also put up with me on bad days. Haven’t been striking it too well as of late with some lower back pain, and these may just be the best of both worlds. Just made the topic to see if there was another gen coming or if there were any rumors. Definitely wanting to hit both the CB and T before I make any decisions. I feel as if the CB won’t be much different than the P7CB in terms of forgiveness, that’s why I lean towards the T.

Anyone know if the 317 line are taper tip or parallel tip hosels?

PXG uses 0.370 hosel bore in all irons

I'm curious if there will be a new model this year as well.  I have the CBs now and they are my favorite irons ever.  Ill probably buy the next release when they come out.

I had the 0317T irons and didn't get along with them, which was surprising as I have a set of Gen 4 0311T irons and love them. I got the 0317 in the same spec and no they were just no bueno for me. I keep my eye out on the BST for the CB in the lefty's shop. I think i would jump on if a new set of CB's were released.

I hated the Ts as well, on paper I thought they would be a unicorn.  Love the CBs.

I think it is because the new T is different from the older models. The older models were still kind of like your forgiving model, but they had no offset and spun nicely. Similar to a much better feeling P770 or T200. This new iteration was designed to be a tour model for someone who wanted a smidge of help over the CBs, like a T100 or Pro 243. Lots of reviews lately from people saying they found little/no difference in testing CB vs. T, which before there was a clear divide. This doesn't really add anything to your experiences, just my opinion and thoughts.

I’d hold tight for now.  Have to believe based on PXG’s launches this past year that next in line will be the 0317 line and I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens early 2025.  I too play CB & T’s, love them both.  Been going back and forth between them and T150 and it’s been a real pillow fight.  Seems like my dispersions are much better with PXG over Titleist.  I am very very curious to see what improvements they make on the CB line up.  Have yet to hear one person hit he CB’s and say they dont like them.  If anything the exact opposite.  I’m also anxiously awaiting the new Srixon launch and would then like to put the two brands head to head.   I love this…..

Anyone got any update to this topic on a new realise/update of 0317T in 2025? Same situation as ETodd. Been playing first gen of the P770 and tried the 0317T yesterday. The PXG is an awesome iron.

They still are saying they do not come out with anything new until there is a major improvement. I just purchased the 0317T to replace my Gen5 0311P and am really impressed. Can work the ball well and has a good amount of forgiveness. Hit one shot way off the toe and felt it but besides that have been everything I was looking for. Good amount of spin and holding greens much better than my 0331P.
