2025 Srixon ZXi Irons

Was I wrong to place an order for the King Tour/CB combo set last week. Should I have waited for these? Think I might have pulled the trigger too soon

No, those are great irons too.

 

Problem is everyone seems to be making killer irons these days, it's hard to pick and stick one set.

Just got FedEx shipping notice from the Srixon rep, loaded it into Aftership, updated and out for Delivery! 😎

There has been so many good irons coming out. Cobra King Tour. Mizuno Pro S-3. Srixons ZXi... definitely a great time for the iron's market.

Love it. Would love to see some pics. Mine are supposed to be here Saturday if FedEx doesn't fail me like they always do (knocks on wood)... Saturday is also the only nice weather day for a while and I ordered them with the grips uninstalled so sadly I won't hit them. Will be waiting a few weeks 😞

I am pretty stoked. Once I saw the notification, I had to change some of my day's plans to make sure I am home to sign.

 

My golf and practice has really cut back in the past year, so the transition to ZXi7s from MBs blades will be a welcome help to make my game more enjoyable. I have had Z745s and Z785s before and now it feels like coming back home. LOL

What sold me was the black heads with black shaft. They look and felt great. Can’t wait to see them in person. The set it’s entirety

Ok now I’m considering the 7s. You can customize them along with the new RTZ.

Not discontinuing but also no update, the Z Forged II will remain in the line as it is.

Same. Ordered mine Monday through Edwin watts. No loft lie adjustments but ordered them with mcc +4 and dg x100s so hopefully it doesn’t slow them down too much.

Haven’t been able to demo these yet. Heard so much good about Srixon irons but not many retailers in our area. Zxi5 going to offer enough forgiveness for a high speed mid cap? Not looking for distance but better dispersion and more consistency

My Zxi 4 set came, haven’t opened the box yet. Won’t be able to play them right away, will be reshafting.

So not to beat a dead horse but looking at the site the and specs it now has the ZXi7 5i measurement as 38.25” where the Z77 MKII was 38”. Did the MKII as measure 38.25” or are the new ones really .25” longer?

According to the site, they are same length just measuring the USGA way.

Same length they have always been:
^† To match USGA and R&A Industry guidelines, Srixon has modified how club lengths are measured and published. Our published length specifications are now approximately ¼" longer for Irons. Note: The actual length of the Irons has not changed, only how they are measured.

I pre-ordered at the end of December. I just got them delivered today and heading to the range.

Placed my order tonight.  Irons split set 4-6 ZXi5 and 7-AW ZXi7.  Utility 2 iron Tour AD

ZXi LS driver Tour AD DI.

 

Shaft upgrades were a wallet killer but I really love that shaft and I will keep it for a long while.

 

Now we wait.   Supposed to be terrible weather in northern Ohio so it doesn't really matter except for sim time.

So are Srixon irons the same length compared to say ping at standard or are they slightly longer?
