Srixon doesn’t get the love of the “big brands” and club reviews are less than past years. That being said, every review I’ve watched/read/heard is that these are nearly the same as previous models. I think it’s safe to say they have only very subtly updated these, so you could effectively watch any previous reviews and apply that to these. 

I was updated that my set is built and should be shipping any day. I will update this thread with my thoughts when I get a chance to hit them. It will take A LOT to get the Blueprint S out of my bag, so we’ll see.

ZXi7. I should probably mention my previous comment was in regard to the 7s. The 4s seem to be a definite cosmetic improvement. 5s seem to be an improved feel based on the reviews I’ve seen.

Finally got my combo set today, ordered on the 13th!

 

The 7's are a subtle improvement, just what I would have done for an iron that's almost perfect.

 

The 5's are definitely improved, if anything the top line 'looks' better to me.

 

If anything (without getting my calipers out) the soles look fractionally narrower - Will hopefully hit them on the sim tonight and see how they compare to the ZX5/7mkii's

 

Went for;

Zxi5 - 5iron

Zxi7 - 6 to 9iron

ZFii - PW (was already in the bag to replace the ZX7 mkii PW)

9 days is great!  I ordered a 5-wood on the 21st and would be thrilled if it somehow got here before a league event on Feb 1st.

This picture confirms the ZXi5 sole width has gotten substantially wider.  Maybe that’s fine for most but I prefer the narrower sole on the mk2 version.  Either way I’m sure the new ones are awesome for majority.

Has anyone seen or hit the zxi7 A wedge? I was thinking of trying one as an 11 iron. I use my gap wedge just like any other iron so I was interested it it flowing with the irons, but this seems more blade like than the irons. Any thoughts on how they flow from the PW?

Hit the zxi today. Have zx5 mkii zx7 combo now with dart 105.  New irons felt great.  Went zxi4 5/6 zxi5 7-gw steelfiber 95s. Got all dark red paint fill and black/white/red ferrets. Pumped to get them.

Happy to. The feel was definitely better in the MKii. The appearance was exponentially better. But they didn’t feel as hot off the face and I wasn’t getting the strong numbers I saw from the OG ZX4. I’m not sure if they made the MKii less forgiving when they refined the overall package. I was so excited for them when they released, but they just didn’t work for me.

How do you rate hitting ZXi4s on 5/6 vs what you had in MKII?

 

I’ve got full set of OG ZX5s and thinking about a ZXi4 4,  ZXi5 5-7 and ZXi7 8-PW but almost feels like overkill and the lofts/gaps getting all wonky. Worried about gaming the same DG shafts in all 3 different clubs as well.

The dispersion was really good with the zxi4 and it seemed to feel just as good. I really like my g430 4 hybrid.  The zxi4 feels the gapping better to the g430.

Went to order these and wedges with MMT. Cleveland doesn’t offer MMT as a shaft option, any suggestions on what to order or what have others ordered. Just looking for people who have ordered MMT in irons: I know SF and Axiom are both offered in both lines.

ZXi heads are softer in feel to me than the MKii that I had before. Distance seems longer but I don’t believe there will be a difference on the course. I seem to always hit better indoors on track man. Compared to my MKii combo the indoor trackman distances, it were like 5-7 yards longer.

6i is 85 with ball speed of 120.

Saw them at golf galaxy today when I was messing with putters. Definitely way more compact than OG ZX5s.

 

Going to spend the money on a fit to match the distances and lofts if I go combo.
