Does anyone know what stock shafts will be available?  I really like the C-taper 125 and hope something similar is available.

Modus 120 I believe, but the AUS site has the DG Mid 115. Most of the early sets from JP had the DG 120 S200. Not 100% sure, but my retailer told me the 120 was a stock option.

I'm probably not as informed as I don't work in golf, but if Cleveland is dropping RTZ info tomorrow, wouldn't we expect to see Srixon too? I'd heard from another source the 17th but like I said in a previous post, i'm not sure. Tomorrow would make sense from a guessing standpoint.

I have said for a while, I would like to see them change their release cycles so the irons and driver don't come out at the same, kind of spread the goodness around

It could look something like this

2025 Srixon Iron Release  Cleveland Woods and Wedge release

2026 Srixon Driver/Woods release  Cleveland Irons and Putter Release

2027 Same a 2025

2028 Same as 2026

They could move the wedges and putters to a fall release if they wanted to spread things out.

This would be more like Titleist, but more importantly it gives the Srixon fans something exciting to look forward to each year, Woods one year, Irons the next as opposed to waiting two years for both.

So there isn't really any rhyme (at least to some of us) or reason for the timing of their releases.  But each company is obviously different for it's own reasons.

Part of the post above got chopped out when I was editing something and didn't notice it.  h

So i just added that part back in.  They really treat each brand almost as seperate comapnies, at one point having separate reps for Srixon and Cleveland.  They still have a separate rep for XXIO as well.

But the point is, even if Wedges are coming tomorrow, and I'm not saying they are or they aren't 🙂  Zxi Irons definitely are being launched separately.

I was just referencing this Instagram post via Cleveland:

That's why I assumed. Yeah definitely would make sense to space things out like say, Titleist? Wedges in the spring, Woods around August of that year, Hybrids around March the next year, and Irons around Aug of that year as well. Then a cycle repeat starting the next year with more wedges. Makes it to where you don't have to shell hundreds/even thousands of dollars all at the same time, but still be able to grab all the new stuff if you want. Just have to decide to do it that way. Customers would be disappointed for a year until you get the cycle going, but then all is well. Just a sacrifice to be weighed.

Oh there is definitely a launch tomorrow, the iG shows that.  It just isn't the irons, I promise you that.  Might even be 2 things tomorrow ...to keep the suspense building.

Yeah, the release cycle change would take a year to sort out, but in the long run I personally think it would just flow better for both brands.

Why keep suspense building?! It’s the freaking woods and wedges. Suspense gone. Unfortunately we’re gonna have to wait longer for the irons

I thought I remember someone answering this question for me earlier in the thread and I can't remember what their answer was.

But is srixon/cleveland measuring the exact same way they always have (longer compared to other OEM's) but on their spec chart it's going to measure their clubs a quarter inch longer?

Yes they are longer.  By just shy of a quarter - but it depends on your idea of standard.  It's getting stupid out there.  Have you held TM next to Mizuno? It's almost 1/2" difference with Mizuno being the longer.  Callaway is short too.  I haven't played with a golfer in a decade who doesn't have their clubs longer than rack.  Most manufacturers should standardize on what is now Mizuno or Srixon standard.  Yeah, a lot of cats order custom, but some don't.  Last year I played MP221 right off the rack because they were my shaft and spec.  I just bent my long irons 1° up.

I've always liked the length of taylormade irons. So if i move to srixon and cleveland I should probably go a -1/4 short?

Always?  They adjusted how they measure 2 years ago, now they are shorter than previous models.  Have your mom swing you by the golf shop so you can "hands on".

So the lengths are the same, but they’re just actually saying without saying they’ve always been on the longer side and now they’re going to show that in the specs.

Yep. So essentially my P7CB's at +0.25" will be VERY close to ZXi7's at STD.

I think they might still be shorter. TM and Callaway are very short. Titleist and Ping at +1/4” will be about what a Srixon or Mizuno is standard.

If so, that would be fine. My GW at 35.5" is extremely close to my P7CB PW at +0.25" now, so if I can get an extra .125" or .25", they'll be fine. They're also 0.5° more upright than the CB's.

Titleist and PING are slightly different with PING being the longer...and it's due to measuring technique - so the number on these websites could be the same, but in reality different.

...and then to confuse matters even more, Blueprint S are longer than Blueprint T by 1/4" with the blades being the shorter of the 2.
